EAST CENTRAL REGIONAL HOSPITAL TO HOST NURSING HIRING FAIR NOVEMBER 10

AUGUSTA, GA - East Central Georgia Regional Hospital is holding a nursing hiring fair Tuesday to fill 60 vacant positions. In September, the Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD) and the Medical College of Georgia (MCG) started a new partnershp under which MCG has been running clinical services at the hospital. With leadershp fiom the college in place and an infusion of expertise, the hospital is now looking to fill critical RN, LPN, occupational therapy, and dietician positions. Other positions are not being filled at this time.
The nursing hiring fair will be held Tuesday, November 10,2009 from 2 - 6 p.m., in the Gracewood
Campus Gymnasium located at 100 Myrtle Blvd, Building #22, Gracewood, GA 30812. Positions at both the Augusta and Gracewood campuses of the hospital will be available.
"We are excited about the opportunity to employ qualified candidates to work directly with the people we serve," said Rhian Sharp, DBHDD Human Resources Director. "What we offer each of our employees is the chance to be challenged, to be valued, and to change lives day one and every day. What's exciting about Augusta is that our team there is also part of the Medical College of Georgia family."
On-site interviews will be given during the job fair. Though the East Central Hospital job fair specifically addresses critical need areas, job seekers can get information about openings at DBHDD at www.DBHDDJobs.com.
