Entity Unauthorized to do Business as a Credit Union in Georgia
Be advised that "HEARTLAND CREDIT UNION" (Heartland) which allegedly has a mailing address of 5821 Jerry Court, P.O. Box 2793, Cartersville, GA 30120 is not a credit union authorized to do business in the State of Georgia. The Department has received information that Heartland may be conducting a banking business in Georgia. Subsequently, a warning letter was issued to Heartland on April 30, 2004. If Heartland does not respond to the warning letter by May 10, 2004, the Department will issue a cease and desist order.
