The Georgia f.o.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for this week's trading is $1.13 based on full truck load lots of ice pack USDA grade "A" sized 2 to 3 pound birds. 100% (representing 1,008 loads) of the loads offered have been confirmed within a range of 82.00 to $1.1848 with a final weighted average of $1.1249 f.o.b. dock or equivalent. The market is steady to occasionally weak, and the live supply is adequate to short for a normal to good demand. Average weights are desirable to a little heavy. Estimated slaughter today is 4,429,000 head. This compares with 4,693,400 head last Monday.

The f.o.b. dock confirmed final weighted average prices on ice pack parts based on truck load and pool truck load lots for this week's trading are: line run tenders $1.58 (based on 1,969,000 lbs.); skinless boneless breasts $1.65 (based on 8,893,000 lbs.); whole breasts $1.0450 (based on 1,489,000 lbs.); boneless skinless thigh meat $1.3250 (based on 1,978,000 lbs.); thighs 60.50 (based on 1,203,000 lbs.); drumsticks 41.50 (based on 1,966,000 lbs.); leg quarters 35.00 (based on 8,880,000 lbs.); and wings $1.53 (based on 3,836,000 lbs.). Demand on line run tenders, whole breasts and wings is mostly good, occasionally normal; demand on skinless boneless breasts and leg quarters is good to normal, mostly good, occasionally light; demand on boneless skinless thigh meat is mostly normal, occasionally good to light; demand on thighs is mostly good, occasionally light to normal; and demand on drumsticks is normal to good, occasionally light.

The market tone for next week's trading is steady to occasionally weak and the live supply is adequate to short for a normal to good demand. Average weights are desirable to a little heavy with a steady, occasionally firm to lower price trend. Estimated slaughter today is 4,468,900 head. This compares with 4,664,100 head last Tuesday.
The f.o.b. dock confirmed final weighted average prices on parts were: line run tenders $1.58; skinless boneless breasts $1.65; whole breasts $1.0450; boneless skinless thigh meat $1.3250; thighs 60.50; drumsticks 41.50; leg quarters 35.00; and wings $1.53. Cooler inventories and supplies on all parts are balanced to occasionally heavy to light, with a good to balanced to light demand. Price trend on all parts is higher to lower, occasionally steady and firm.
