The Georgia f.o.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for this week's trading is $1.13 based on full truck load lots of ice pack USDA grade "A" sized 2 to 3 pound birds. 100% (representing 1,020 loads) of the loads offered have been confirmed within a range of 75.00 to $1.1848 with a final weighted average of $1.1216 f.o.b. dock or equivalent. The market is steady to occasionally weak and the live supply is short to adequate for a normal to good demand. Average weights are desirable. Estimated slaughter today is 4,368,700 head. This compares with 4,664,200 head last Monday.
The f.o.b. dock confirmed final weighted average prices on ice pack parts based on truck load and pool truck load lots for this week's trading are: line run tenders $1.5650 (based on 1,989,000 lbs.); skinless boneless breasts $1.68 (based on 9,182,000 lbs.); whole breasts $1.0650 (based on 1,349,000 lbs.); boneless skinless thigh meat $1.21 (based on 2,455,000 lbs.); thighs 62.50 (based on 1,173,000 lbs.); drumsticks 46.00 (based on 2,000,000 lbs.); leg quarters 36.50 (based on 8,827,000 lbs.); and wings $1.4850 (based on 3,926,000 lbs.). Demand on most parts is mostly good, occasionally normal to light; with the exceptions of whole breasts and wings which is mostly good, occasionally normal; boneless skinless thigh meat which is mostly normal, occasionally good to light; and thighs which is mostly good, occasionally light to normal.

The market tone for next week's trading is steady to weak to occasionally firm and the live supply is short to adequate for a normal to occasionally good demand. Average weights are desirable with a firm to steady to lower price trend. Estimated slaughter today is 4,686,700 head. This compares with 4,679,100 head last Tuesday.
The f.o.b. dock confirmed final weighted average prices on parts were: line run tenders $1.5650; skinless boneless breasts $1.68; whole breasts $1.0650; boneless skinless thigh meat $1.21; thighs 62.50; drumsticks 46.00; leg quarters 36.50; and wings $1.4850. Cooler inventories and supplies on all parts are balanced to occasionally heavy to light, with a good to balanced to light demand. Price trend on all parts is higher to lower, occasionally steady to weak.
