The Georgia f.o.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for this week's trading is $1.1425 based on full truck load lots of ice pack USDA grade "A" sized 2 to 3 pound birds. 100% (representing 1,024 loads) of the loads offered have been confirmed within a range of 95.00 to $1.20 with a final weighted average of $1.1301 f.o.b. dock or equivalent. The market is steady to firm and the live supply is adequate to short for a good to normal demand. Average weights are desirable. Estimated slaughter today is 4,719,900 head. This compares with 4,265,900 head last Monday.
The f.o.b. dock confirmed final weighted average prices on ice pack parts based on truck load and pool truck load lots for this week's trading are: line run tenders $1.9450 (based on 2,050,000 lbs.); skinless boneless breasts $2.00 (based on 8,464,000 lbs.); whole breasts $1.2750 (based on 1,679,000 lbs.); boneless skinless thigh meat $1.4350 (based on 2,121,000 lbs.); thighs 76.00 (based on 1,233,000 lbs.); drumsticks 61.50 (based on 2,223,000 lbs.); leg quarters 51.00 (based on 8,428,000 lbs.); and wings $1.6850 (based on 3,862,000 lbs.). Demand on most parts is good to normal, mostly good; with the exceptions of boneless skinless thigh meat which is good to light, mostly good, occasionally normal; drumsticks which is normal to good, mostly normal; and leg quarters which is good to normal, mostly good, occasionally light.

The market tone for next week's trading is steady to weak to occasionally firm, and the live supply is adequate to short for a good to normal demand. Average weights are desirable with a mostly steady to weak, occasionally lower and firm, price trend. Estimated slaughter today is 4,706,200 head. This compares with 4,814,100 head last Tuesday.
The f.o.b. dock confirmed final weighted average prices on parts were: line run tenders $1.9450 skinless boneless breasts $2.00 whole breasts $1.2750; boneless skinless thigh meat $1.4350; thighs 76.00; drumsticks 61.50; leg quarters 51.00; and wings $1.6850. Cooler inventories and supplies on all parts are balanced to occasionally light and heavy with a mostly balanced to good, occasionally light, demand. Price trend on all parts is mostly higher to lower, occasionally steady and firm.
