The Georgia f.o.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for this week's trading is $1.1325 based on full truck load lots of ice pack USDA grade "A" sized 2 to 3 pound birds. 100% (representing 1,018 loads) of the loads offered have been confirmed within a range of 71.00 to $1.1848 with a final weighted average of $1.1213 f.o.b. dock or equivalent. The market is steady to weak and the live supply is short to adequate for a normal to good demand. Average weights are desirable to heavy. Estimated slaughter today is 4,460,600 head. This compares with 4,652,200 head last Monday.
The f.o.b. dock confirmed final weighted average prices on ice pack parts based on truck load and pool truck load lots for this week's trading are: line run tenders $1.5650 (based on 2,122,000 lbs.); skinless boneless breasts $1.72 (based on 9,260,000 lbs.); whole breasts $1.0850 (based on 1,496,000 lbs.); boneless skinless thigh meat $1.2250 (based on 2,249,000 lbs.); thighs 63.50 (based on 1,233,000 lbs.); drumsticks 45.00 (based on 2,067,000 lbs.); leg quarters 38.00 (based on 8,952,000 lbs.); and wings $1.51 (based on 3,754,000 lbs.). Demand on most parts is good to normal, mostly good, occasionally light; with the exceptions of whole breasts which is good to normal, mostly good; thighs which is mostly good, occasionally light to normal; and drumsticks which is normal to good, mostly normal, occasionally light.

The market tone for next week's trading is steady to weak and the live supply is short to adequate for a normal to good demand. Average weights are desirable to heavy with a firm to lower to steady, occasionally higher to weak, price trend. Estimated slaughter today is 4,673,300 head. This compares with 4,647,800 head last Tuesday.
The f.o.b. dock confirmed final weighted average prices on parts were: line run tenders $1.5650; skinless boneless breasts $1.72; whole breasts $1.0850; boneless skinless thigh meat $1.2250; thighs 63.50; drumsticks 45.00; leg quarters 38.00; and wings $1.51. Cooler inventories and supplies on all parts are balanced to occasionally heavy to light, with a good to balanced to light demand. Price trend on all parts is lower to higher, occasionally steady to weak.
