The Georgia f.o.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for this week's trading is $1.1450 based on full truck load lots of ice pack USDA grade "A" sized 2 to 3 pound birds. 100% (representing 1,007 loads) of the loads offered have been confirmed within a range of 71.00 to $1.1950 with a final weighted average of $1.1277 f.o.b. dock or equivalent. The market is firm to steady to weak and the live supply is short to adequate for a good to normal demand. Average weights are desirable to occasionally heavy. Estimated slaughter today is 4,705,200 head. This compares with 4,529,000 head last Monday.

The f.o.b. dock confirmed final weighted average prices on ice pack parts based on truck load and pool truck load lots for this week's trading are: line run tenders $1.8150 (based on 2,053,000 lbs.); skinless boneless breasts $1.9250 (based on 9,085,000 lbs.); whole breasts $1.2550 (based on 1,385,000 lbs.); boneless skinless thigh meat $1.4650 (based on 2,157,000 lbs.); thighs 73.50 (based on 1,173,000 lbs.); drumsticks 46.00 (based on 2,477,000 lbs.); leg quarters 45.00 (based on 8,997,000 lbs.); and wings $1.54 (based on 3,989,000 lbs.). Demand on line run tenders and drumsticks is normal to good, mostly normal, occasionally light; demand on skinless boneless breasts, leg quarters and wings is good to normal, mostly good, occasionally light; demand on whole breasts is normal to good, mostly normal; demand on boneless skinless thigh meat is mostly good, occasionally light; and demand on thighs is mostly good, occasionally light to normal.

The market tone for next week's trading is firm to steady to weak and the live supply is short to adequate to occasionally long for a good to normal to occasionally light demand. Average weights are desirable to occasionally heavy with a firm to lower, occasionally steady to weak, price trend. Estimated slaughter today is 4,680,400 head. This compares with 4,689,700 head last Tuesday.

The f.o.b. dock confirmed final weighted average prices on parts were: line run tenders $1.8150 skinless boneless breasts $1.9250; whole breasts $1.2550; boneless skinless thigh meat $1.4650; thighs 73.50; drumsticks 46.00; leg quarters 45.00; and wings $1.54. Cooler inventories and supplies on all parts are balanced to occasionally heavy to light, with a mostly balanced to good to light demand. Price trend on all parts is mostly higher to lower, occasionally weak, steady and firm.

Average weights are desirable to occasionally heavy. Estimated slaughter today and Saturday is 4,819,900 head. This compares with 3,925,000 head last Friday.

Demand on most parts is good to normal, mostly good, occasionally light; with the exceptions of whole breasts which is good to normal, mostly good; boneless skinless thigh meat which is mostly good, occasionally light; and thighs which is mostly good, occasionally light to normal.
