The Georgia f.o.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for this week's trading is $1.1425 based on full truck load lots of ice pack USDA grade "A" sized 2 to 3 pound birds. 100% (representing 1,025 loads) of the loads offered have been confirmed within a range of $1.00 to $1.20 with a final weighted average of $1.1287 f.o.b. dock or equivalent. The market is steady to firm to occasionally weak and the live supply is adequate to short, occasionally long, for a good to normal, occasionally light, demand. Average weights are desirable. Estimated slaughter today is 4,265,900 head. This compares with 4,782,200 head last Monday.
The f.o.b. dock confirmed final weighted average prices on ice pack parts based on truck load and pool truck load lots for this week's trading are: line run tenders $1.9350 (based on 1,759,000 lbs.); skinless boneless breasts $1.95 (based on 8,937,000 lbs.); whole breasts $1.2850 (based on 1,539,000 lbs.); boneless skinless thigh meat $1.5050 (based on 2,118,000 lbs.); thighs 76.50 (based on 1,203,000 lbs.); drumsticks 62.50 (based on 2,081,000 lbs.); leg quarters 51.50 (based on 8,462,000 lbs.); and wings $1.64 (based on 3,874,000 lbs.). Demand on most parts is good to normal, mostly good; with the exceptions of boneless skinless thigh meat and leg quarters which is good to normal, mostly good, occasionally light; and thighs which is normal to good, mostly normal.

The market tone for next week's trading is steady to firm to occasionally weak, and the live supply is adequate to short, occasionally long, for a good to normal, occasionally light, demand. Average weights are desirable with a mostly firm to steady, occasionally weak, price trend. Estimated slaughter today is 4,814,100 head. This compares with 4,757,100 head last Tuesday.
The f.o.b. dock confirmed final weighted average prices on parts were: line run tenders $1.9350 skinless boneless breasts $1.95 whole breasts $1.2850; boneless skinless thigh meat $1.5050; thighs 76.50; drumsticks 62.50; leg quarters 51.50; and wings $1.64. Cooler inventories and supplies on all parts are balanced to occasionally light with a mostly good to balanced, occasionally light demand. Price trend on all parts is mostly higher to lower, occasionally weak, steady and firm.
