The Georgia f.o.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for this week's trading is $1.15 based on full truck load lots of ice pack USDA grade "A" sized 2 to 3 pound birds. 100% (representing 1,013 loads) of the loads offered have been confirmed within a range of 75 to $1.2097 with a final weighted average of $1.1322 f.o.b. dock or equivalent. The market is firm to steady to occasionally weak and the live supply is adequate to long to occasionally short for a good to normal to occasionally light demand. Average weights are desirable. Estimated slaughter today is 4,193,700 head. This compares with 4,702,200 head last Monday.
The f.o.b. dock confirmed final weighted average prices on ice pack parts based on truck load and pool truck load lots for this week's trading are: line run tenders $1.93 (based on 1,985,000 lbs.); skinless boneless breasts $2.04 (based on 8,808,000 lbs.); whole breasts $1.27 (based on 1,414,000 lbs.); boneless skinless thigh meat $1.3550 (based on 2,650,000 lbs.); thighs 75.00 (based on 1,203,000 lbs.); drumsticks 52.50 (based on 1,818,000 lbs.); leg quarters 45.50 (based on 8,962,000 lbs.); and wings $1.5750 (based on 3,778,000 lbs.). Demand on most parts is good to normal, mostly good, occasionally light; with the exceptions of whole breasts and drumsticks which is normal to good, mostly normal; and thighs which is good to normal, mostly good.

The market tone for next week's trading is firm to steady to occasionally weak and the live supply is adequate to long to occasionally short for a good to normal to occasionally light demand. Average weights are desirable with a firm to lower, occasionally steady to higher, price trend. Estimated slaughter today is 4,758,800 head. This compares with 4,673,100 head last Tuesday.
The f.o.b. dock confirmed final weighted average prices on parts were: line run tenders $1.93 skinless boneless breasts $2.04; whole breasts $1.27; boneless skinless thigh meat $1.3550; thighs 75.00; drumsticks 52.50; leg quarters 45.50; and wings $1.5750. Cooler inventories and supplies on all parts are balanced to occasionally heavy and light, with a mostly balanced to good, occasionally light, demand. Price trend on all parts is mostly higher to lower, occasionally steady and weak.
