The Georgia f.o.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for this week's trading is $1.1550 based on full truck load lots of ice pack USDA grade "A" sized 2 to 3 pound birds. 100% (representing 1,028 loads) of the loads offered have been confirmed within a range of 81 to $1.21 with a final weighted average of $1.1341 f.o.b. dock or equivalent. The market is firm to steady to occasionally weak and the live supply is adequate to short to occasionally long for a good to normal to occasionally light demand. Average weights are desirable. Estimated slaughter today is 4,725,300 head. This compares with 4,885,600 head last Monday.
The f.o.b. dock confirmed final weighted average prices on ice pack parts based on truck load and pool truck load lots for this week's trading are: line run tenders $1.9450 (based on 2,032,000 lbs.); skinless boneless breasts $2.02 (based on 8,873,000 lbs.); whole breasts $1.2950 (based on 1,439,000 lbs.); boneless skinless thigh meat $1.5350 (based on 1,969,000 lbs.); thighs 75.50 (based on 1,203,000 lbs.); drumsticks 53.00 (based on 2,130,000 lbs.); leg quarters 45.50 (based on 8,612,000 lbs.); and wings $1.58 (based on 3,871,000 lbs.). Demand on most parts is good to normal, mostly good; with the exception of leg quarters which is good to normal, mostly good, occasionally light.

The market tone for next week's trading is steady to firm to occasionally weak and the live supply is adequate to short to occasionally long for a good to normal to occasionally light demand. Average weights are desirable with a higher to lower, occasionally steady, weak and firm price trend. Estimated slaughter today is 4,756,200 head. This compares with 4,689,400 head last Tuesday.
The f.o.b. dock confirmed final weighted average prices on parts were: line run tenders $1.9450 skinless boneless breasts $2.02; whole breasts $1.2950; boneless skinless thigh meat $1.5350; thighs 75.50; drumsticks 53.00; leg quarters 45.50; and wings $1.58. Cooler inventories and supplies on all parts are balanced to occasionally light and heavy, with a mostly good to balanced, occasionally light, demand. Price trend on all parts is mostly higher and lower, occasionally weak and steady.
