The Georgia f.o.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for this week's trading is $1.16 based on full truck load lots of ice pack USDA grade "A" sized 2 to 3 pound birds. 100% (representing 1,023 loads) of the loads offered have been confirmed within a range of $1.00 to $1.2135 with a final weighted average of $1.1422 f.o.b. dock or equivalent. The market is firm to steady to occasionally weak and the live supply is adequate to short to occasionally long for a good to normal demand. Average weights are desirable. Estimated slaughter today is 4,715,800 head. This compares with 4,742,900 head last Monday.
The f.o.b. dock confirmed final weighted average prices on ice pack parts based on truck load and pool truck load lots for this week's trading are: line run tenders $2.07 (based on 2,037,000 lbs.); skinless boneless breasts $2.0550 (based on 8,726,000 lbs.); whole breasts $1.31 (based on 1,523,000 lbs.); boneless skinless thigh meat $1.5250 (based on 1,960,000 lbs.); thighs 76.50 (based on 1,233,000 lbs.); drumsticks 58.50 (based on 2,109,000 lbs.); leg quarters 46.00 (based on 8,302,000 lbs.); and wings $1.6650 (based on 3,771,000 lbs.). Demand on most parts is good to normal, mostly good; with the exceptions of skinless boneless breasts and leg quarters which is good to normal, mostly good, occasionally light; boneless skinless thigh meat which is mostly good, occasionally light to normal; and drumsticks which is normal to good, mostly normal.

Average weights are desirable with a mostly firm to steady, occasionally weak and lower, price trend. Estimated slaughter today is 4,716,800 head. This compares with 4,703,100 head last Tuesday.
