The Georgia f.o.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for this week's trading is $1.1575 based on full truck load lots of ice pack USDA grade "A" sized 2 to 3 pound birds. 100% (representing 1,022 loads) of the loads offered have been confirmed within a range of $1.00 to $1.2135 with a final weighted average of $1.1411 f.o.b. dock or equivalent. The market is steady to firm and the live supply is adequate to short for a good to normal demand. Average weights are desirable. Estimated slaughter today is 4,742,900 head. This compares with 4,710,700 head last Monday.
The f.o.b. dock confirmed final weighted average prices on ice pack parts based on truck load and pool truck load lots for this week's trading are: line run tenders $2.0650 (based on 2,063,000 lbs.); skinless boneless breasts $2.03 (based on 8,802,000 lbs.); whole breasts $1.31 (based on 1,520,000 lbs.); boneless skinless thigh meat $1.3850 (based on 2,478,000 lbs.); thighs 76.50 (based on 1,203,000 lbs.); drumsticks 63.00 (based on 1,824,000 lbs.); leg quarters 46.00 (based on 8,262,000 lbs.); and wings $1.6650 (based on 3,855,000 lbs.). Demand on line run tenders, skinless boneless breasts and leg quarters is good to normal, mostly good, occasionally light; demand on whole breasts, thighs and wings is good to normal, mostly good; demand on boneless skinless thigh meat is mostly good, occasionally light to normal; and demand on drumsticks is normal to good, mostly normal.

The market tone for next week's trading is firm to steady and the live supply is adequate to short for a good to normal demand. Average weights are desirable to a little light with a mostly higher to weak and firm, occasionally steady, price trend. Estimated slaughter today is 4,703,100 head. This compares with 4,682,600 head last Tuesday.
The f.o.b. dock confirmed final weighted average prices on parts were: line run tenders $2.0650 skinless boneless breasts $2.03 whole breasts $1.31; boneless skinless thigh meat $1.3850; thighs 76.50; drumsticks 63.00; leg quarters 46.00; and wings $1.6650. Cooler inventories and supplies on all parts are balanced to occasionally heavy and light, with a mostly balanced to good, occasionally light, demand. Price trend on all parts is mostly lower to higher, occasionally steady and weak.
