The Georgia f.o.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for this week's trading is $1.16 based on full truck load lots of ice pack USDA grade "A" sized 2 to 3 pound birds. 100% (representing 1,027 loads) of the loads offered have been confirmed within a range of $1.04 to $1.2109 with a final weighted average of $1.1446 f.o.b. dock or equivalent. The market is firm to steady and the live supply is short to adequate for a good to normal to occasionally light demand. Average weights are desirable. Estimated slaughter today is 4,601,600 head. This compares with 4,598,700 head last Monday.

The f.o.b. dock confirmed final weighted average prices on ice pack parts based on truck load and pool truck load lots for this week's trading are: line run tenders $2.17 (based on 1,972,000 lbs.); skinless boneless breasts $2.08 (based on 8,703,000 lbs.); whole breasts $1.3050 (based on 1,421,000 lbs.); boneless skinless thigh meat $1.5850 (based on 2,020,000 lbs.); thighs 76.00 (based on 1,173,000 lbs.); drumsticks 57.50 (based on 1,988,000 lbs.); leg quarters 49.50 (based on 8,897,000 lbs.); and wings $1.70 (based on 3,916,000 lbs.). Demand on most parts is good to normal, mostly good, occasionally light; with the exceptions of whole breasts and thighs which is good to normal, mostly good; boneless skinless thigh meat which is mostly good, occasionally light and normal; and drumsticks which is normal to good, mostly normal.

The market tone for next week's trading is firm to steady to occasionally weak and the live supply is short to adequate to occasionally long for a good to normal to occasionally light demand. Average weights are desirable with a mostly firm to steady, occasionally weak, higher and lower, price trend. Estimated slaughter today is 4,566,200 head. This compares with 4,615,000 head last Tuesday.
The f.o.b. dock confirmed final weighted average prices on parts were: line run tenders $2.17 skinless boneless breasts $2.08 whole breasts $1.3050; boneless skinless thigh meat $1.5850; thighs 76.00; drumsticks 57.50; leg quarters 49.50; and wings $1.70. Cooler inventories and supplies on all parts are balanced to occasionally light and heavy, with a mostly balanced to good, occasionally light, demand. Price trend on all parts is mostly higher to lower, occasionally steady, firm and weak.
