The Georgia f.o.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for this week's trading is $1.1375 based on full truck load lots of ice pack USDA grade "A" sized 2 to 3 pound birds. 100% (representing 943 loads) of the loads offered have been confirmed within a range of $1.01 to $1.1879 with a final weighted average of $1.1291 f.o.b. dock or equivalent. The market is firm to steady and the live supply is adequate to short for a good to normal demand. Average weights are desirable. Estimated slaughter today is 4,772,000 head. This compares with 4,776,800 head last Monday.
The f.o.b. dock confirmed final weighted average prices on ice pack parts based on truck load and pool truck load lots for this week's trading are: line run tenders $1.9450 (based on 1,989,000 lbs.); skinless boneless breasts $1.9950 (based on 7,180,000 lbs.); whole breasts $1.24 (based on 1,539,000 lbs.); boneless skinless thigh meat $1.3650 (based on 1,661,000 lbs.); thighs 76.00 (based on 1,203,000 lbs.); drumsticks 63.50 (based on 1,948,000 lbs.); leg quarters 52.00 (based on 8,672,000 lbs.); and wings $1.5750 (based on 3,784,000 lbs.). Demand on line run tenders, skinless boneless breasts, and leg quarters is good to normal, mostly good, occasionally light; demand on whole breasts, thighs, and wings is good to normal, mostly good; demand on boneless skinless thigh meat is normal to good, mostly normal, occasionally light; and demand on drumsticks is normal to good, mostly normal.

The market tone for next week's trading is firm to steady, and the live supply is adequate to short for a good to normal demand. Average weights are desirable with a mostly higher to steady, occasionally firm to lower, price trend. Estimated slaughter today is 4,742,600 head. This compares with 4,758,000 head last Tuesday.
The f.o.b. dock confirmed final weighted average prices on parts were: line run tenders $1.9450 skinless boneless breasts $1.9950 whole breasts $1.24; boneless skinless thigh meat $1.3650; thighs 76.00; drumsticks 63.50; leg quarters 52.00; and wings $1.5750. Cooler inventories and supplies on all parts are balanced to occasionally light and heavy with a mostly balanced to good, occasionally light demand. Price trend on all parts is mostly higher to lower, occasionally weak and steady.

This compares with 4,452,700 head last Wednesday.

Demand on most parts is good to normal, mostly good; with the exceptions of line run tenders, skinless boneless breasts and leg quarters which is good to normal, mostly good, occasionally light; and boneless skinless thigh meat which is good to light, mostly good.
