The Georgia f.o.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for this week's trading is $1.1450 based on full truck load lots of ice pack USDA grade "A" sized 2 to 3 pound birds. 100% (representing 1,027 loads) of the loads offered have been confirmed within a range of 98.00 to $1.21 with a final weighted average of $1.1337 f.o.b. dock or equivalent. The market is steady to firm to occasionally weak and the live supply is short to adequate to occasionally long for a good to normal to occasionally light demand. Average weights are desirable. Estimated slaughter today is 4,586,200 head. This compares with 4,775,800 head last Monday.
The f.o.b. dock confirmed final weighted average prices on ice pack parts based on truck load and pool truck load lots for this week's trading are: line run tenders $2.0450 (based on 2,055,000 lbs.); skinless boneless breasts $2.00 (based on 8,702,000 lbs.); whole breasts $1.22 (based on 1,479,000 lbs.); boneless skinless thigh meat $1.4250 (based on 2,250,000 lbs.); thighs 76.00 (based on 1,233,000 lbs.); drumsticks 60.00 (based on 2,214,000 lbs.); leg quarters 49.00 (based on 8,552,000 lbs.); and wings $1.7350 (based on 3,863,000 lbs.). Demand on most parts is good to normal, mostly good; with the exceptions of line run tenders which is good to normal, mostly good, occasionally very good; whole breasts and drumsticks which is normal to good, mostly normal; and leg quarters which is good to normal, mostly good, occasionally light.

The market tone for next week's trading is steady to firm to occasionally weak and the live supply is short to adequate to occasionally long for a good to normal demand. Average weights are desirable with a mostly steady to higher, occasionally lower to firm, price trend. Estimated slaughter today is 4,769,000 head. This compares with 4,753,600 head last Tuesday.
The f.o.b. dock confirmed final weighted average prices on parts were: line run tenders $2.0250 skinless boneless breasts $1.99 whole breasts $1.23; boneless skinless thigh meat $1.41; thighs 76.50; drumsticks 64.00; leg quarters 49.00; and wings $1.6950. Cooler inventories and supplies on all parts are balanced to occasionally light, with a mostly good to balanced, occasionally light, demand. Price trend on all parts is mostly higher to lower, occasionally weak and steady.
