The Georgia f.o.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for this week's trading is $1.1425 based on full truck load lots of ice pack USDA grade "A" sized 2 to 3 pound birds. 100% (representing 1,030 loads) of the loads offered have been confirmed within a range of 95.00 to $1.20 with a final weighted average of $1.1301 f.o.b. dock or equivalent. The market is steady to firm and the live supply is short to adequate for a good to normal demand. Average weights are desirable. Estimated slaughter today is 4,771,200 head. This compares with 4,780,200 head last Monday.
The f.o.b. dock confirmed final weighted average prices on ice pack parts based on truck load and pool truck load lots for this week's trading are: line run tenders $2.00 (based on 2,004,000 lbs.); skinless boneless breasts $1.9950 (based on 8,560,000 lbs.); whole breasts $1.1850 (based on 1,399,000 lbs.); boneless skinless thigh meat $1.4650 (based on 2,252,000 lbs.); thighs 77.00 (based on 1,173,000 lbs.); drumsticks 64.50 (based on 2,066,000 lbs.); leg quarters 50.00 (based on 8,597,000 lbs.); and wings $1.6850 (based on 3,957,000 lbs.). Demand on most parts is good to normal, mostly good; with the exceptions of leg quarters and wings which is good to normal, mostly good, occasionally light.

The Georgia f.o.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for this week's trading is $1.1425. The final weighted average was $1.1301 f.o.b. dock or equivalent. The market tone for next week's trading is steady to firm and the live supply is short to adequate for a good to normal demand. Average weights are desirable with a mostly steady to higher and weak price trend. Estimated slaughter today is 4,753,600 head. This compares with 4,778,900 head last Tuesday.
The f.o.b. dock confirmed final weighted average prices on parts were: line run tenders $2.00 skinless boneless breasts $1.9950 whole breasts $1.1850; boneless skinless thigh meat $1.4650; thighs 77.00; drumsticks 64.50; leg quarters 50.00; and wings $1.6850. Cooler inventories and supplies on all parts are balanced to occasionally light, with a mostly good to balanced, occasionally light, demand. Price trend on all parts is mostly higher to lower, occasionally steady and weak.

The Georgia f.o.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for next week's trading advanced .25 to $1.1450 based on full truck load lots of ice pack USDA grade "A" sized 2 to 3 pound birds. The market is steady to firm and the live supply is short to adequate for a good to normal demand. Average weights are desirable. Estimated slaughter today is 4,713,700 head. This compares with 4,761,500 head last Wednesday.
The f.o.b. dock quoted prices on ice pack parts based on truck load and pool truck load lots for next week's trading are: line run tenders $2.0150; skinless boneless breasts $1.9050; whole breasts $1.1650; boneless skinless thigh meat $1.4950; thighs 73.00; drumsticks 56.50; leg quarters 49.50 and wings $1.7650 Demand on most parts is good to normal, mostly good; with the exceptions of whole breasts and drumsticks which is normal to good, mostly normal; and leg quarters which is good to normal, mostly good, occasionally light.

The market is steady to firm and the live supply is short to adequate for a good to normal demand. Average weights are desirable. Estimated slaughter today and Saturday is 4,782,400 head. This compares with 4,696,900 head last Friday and Saturday.

Estimated hen slaughter for the week ending today is 257,098 head. Estimated hen slaughter for the corresponding week a year ago was 217,844 head.
Estimated total slaughter for the week ending today and Saturday for broilers and fryers is 23,805,700 head. This compares with 22,973,300 head of broilers and fryers for the corresponding week a year ago.
