The Georgia f.o.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for this week's trading is $1.0450 based on full truck load lots of ice pack USDA grade "A" sized 2 to 3 pound birds. 100% (representing 998 loads) of the loads offered have been confirmed within a range of 89.00 to $1.0811 with a final weighted average of $1.0369 f.o.b. dock or equivalent. The market is steady and the live supply is adequate to short for a normal to good demand. Average weights are desirable. Estimated slaughter today is 4,868,700 head. This compares with 4,763,200 head last Monday.

The f.o.b. dock confirmed final weighted average prices on ice pack parts based on truck load and pool truck load lots for this week's trading are: line run tenders $1.89 (based on 1,732,000 lbs.); skinless boneless breasts $1.88 (based on 7,497,000 lbs.); whole breasts $1.03 (based on 1,807,000 lbs.); boneless skinless thigh meat $1.4250 (based on 1,251,000 lbs.); thighs 74.00 (based on 1,328,000 lbs.); drumsticks 72.50 (based on 1,347,000 lbs.); leg quarters 50.50 (based on 9,379,000 lbs.); and wings $1.29 (based on 3,483,000 lbs.). Demand on most parts is good to normal, mostly good; with the exceptions of whole breasts which is normal to good, mostly normal; boneless skinless thigh meat which is good to light, occasionally normal; and wings which is normal to good, occasionally light.

The Georgia f.o.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for this week's trading is $1.0450. The final weighted average was $1.0369 f.o.b. dock or equivalent. The market tone for next week's trading is steady and the live supply is adequate to short for a normal to good demand. Average weights are desirable to a little light with a mostly steady, occasionally weak to lower, price trend. Estimated slaughter today is 4,756,600 head. This compares with 4,790,300 head last Tuesday.
The f.o.b. dock confirmed final weighted average prices on parts were: line run tenders $1.89; skinless boneless breasts $1.88 whole breasts $1.03; boneless skinless thigh meat $1.4250; thighs 74.00; drumsticks 72.50; leg quarters 50.50; and wings $1.29. Cooler inventories and supplies on all parts are balanced to light to occasionally heavy with a demand ranging good to balanced to occasionally light. Price trend on all parts is mostly lower to higher, occasionally steady.

This compares with 4,700,400 head last Wednesday.
The f.o.b. dock quoted prices on ice pack parts based on truck load and pool truck load lots for next week's trading are: line run tenders $1.8150; skinless boneless breasts $1.79; whole breasts 98.00; boneless skinless thigh meat $1.44; thighs 69.00; drumsticks 63.00; leg quarters 49.50 and wings $1.27. Demand on line run tenders, skinless boneless breasts, thighs, drumsticks and leg quarters is good to normal, mostly good; demand on whole breasts is normal to good, mostly normal; demand on boneless skinless thigh meat is good to light, occasionally normal; and demand on wings is normal to good, mostly normal, occasionally light.

Estimated hen slaughter for the week ending today is 213,249 head. Estimated hen slaughter for the corresponding week a year ago was 120,850 head.
Estimated total slaughter for the week ending Saturday for broilers and fryers is 23,675,100 head. This compares with 23,595,700 head of broilers and fryers for the corresponding week a year ago.
