The Georgia f.o.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for this week's trading is $1.14 based on full truck load lots of ice pack USDA grade "A" sized 2 to 3 pound birds. 100% (representing 1,021 loads) of the loads offered have been confirmed within a range of $1.03 to $1.19 with a final weighted average of $1.1287 f.o.b. dock or equivalent. The market is steady to firm and the live supply is adequate to short for a good to normal demand. Average weights are desirable to a little heavy. Estimated slaughter today is 4,720,000 head. This compares with 4,703,900 head last Monday.
The f.o.b. dock confirmed final weighted average prices on ice pack parts based on truck load and pool truck load lots for this week's trading are: line run tenders $2.0150 (based on 2,134,000 lbs.); skinless boneless breasts $2.0450 (based on 8,453,000 lbs.); whole breasts $1.2150 (based on 1,999,000 lbs.); boneless skinless thigh meat $1.4650 (based on 1,701,000 lbs.); thighs 73.50 (based on 1,327,000 lbs.); drumsticks 61.00 (based on 2,061,000 lbs.); leg quarters 52.50 (based on 9,079,000 lbs.); and wings $1.59 (based on 3,721,000 lbs.). Demand on line run tenders is good to normal, occasionally light; demand on skinless boneless breasts, boneless skinless thigh meat and leg quarters is good to normal, mostly good, occasionally light; demand on whole breasts and drumsticks is normal to good, mostly normal; and demand on thighs and wings is good to normal, mostly good.

The Georgia f.o.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for this week's trading is $1.14. The final weighted average was $1.1287 f.o.b. dock or equivalent. The market tone for next week's trading is steady to firm and the live supply is adequate to short for a good to normal to occasionally light demand. Average weights are desirable with a mostly steady to weak price trend. Estimated slaughter today is 4,474,800 head. This compares with 4,701,000 head last Tuesday.
The f.o.b. dock confirmed final weighted average prices on parts were: line run tenders $2.0150 skinless boneless breasts $2.0450 whole breasts $1.2150; boneless skinless thigh meat $1.4650; thighs 73.50; drumsticks 61.00; leg quarters 52.50; and wings $1.59. Cooler inventories and supplies on all parts are balanced to occasionally light and heavy with a mostly balanced to good, occasionally light demand. Price trend on all parts is mostly lower to higher, occasionally steady, firm and weak.
