The Georgia f.o.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for this week's trading is $1.1375 based on full truck load lots of ice pack USDA grade "A" sized 2 to 3 pound birds. 100% (representing 1,021 loads) of the loads offered have been confirmed within a range of $1.0165 to $1.19 with a final weighted average of $1.1276 f.o.b. dock or equivalent. The market is firm to steady to occasionally weak and the live supply is adequate to short for a good to normal demand. Average weights are desirable. Estimated slaughter today is 4,734,200 head. This compares with 4,725,200 head last Monday.
The f.o.b. dock confirmed final weighted average prices on ice pack parts based on truck load and pool truck load lots for this week's trading are: line run tenders $2.1950 (based on 2,021,000 lbs.); skinless boneless breasts $2.2150 (based on 8,111,000 lbs.); whole breasts $1.29 (based on 1,794,000 lbs.); boneless skinless thigh meat $1.44 (based on 1,989,000 lbs.); thighs 76.00 (based on 1,327,000 lbs.); drumsticks 65.50 (based on 1,637,000 lbs.); leg quarters 52.50 (based on 9,079,000 lbs.); and wings $1.5750 (based on 3,703,000 lbs.). Demand most parts is good to normal, mostly good; with the exception of line run tenders which is good to normal, mostly good, occasionally light.

The market tone for next week's trading is firm to steady to occasionally weak and the live supply is adequate to short for a good to normal to occasionally light demand. Average weights are desirable with a mostly steady to weak to occasionally firm and higher price trend. Estimated slaughter today is 4,747,000 head. This compares with 4,750,300 head last Tuesday.
The f.o.b. dock confirmed final weighted average prices on parts were: line run tenders $2.1950 skinless boneless breasts $2.2150 whole breasts $1.29; boneless skinless thigh meat $1.44; thighs 76.00; drumsticks 65.50; leg quarters 52.50; and wings $1.5750. Cooler inventories and supplies on all parts are balanced to occasionally heavy with a mostly good to balanced, occasionally light demand. Price trend on all parts is mostly higher and lower, occasionally steady and weak.
