2 SEPTEMBER 2014 MONDAY'S REPORT WAS PUBLISHED TUESDAY DUE TO LABOR DAY HOLIDAY The Georgia f.o.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for this week's trading is $1.13 based on full truck load lots of ice pack USDA grade "A" sized 2 to 3 pound birds. 100% (representing 1,017 loads) of the loads offered have been confirmed within a range of $1.01 to $1.1952 with a final weighted average of $1.1189 f.o.b. dock or equivalent. The market is steady to firm to occasionally weak and the live supply is adequate to short for a good to normal demand. Average weights are desirable to a little heavy. Estimated slaughter Monday was 3,789,400 head. This compares with 4,622,800 head last Monday.
The f.o.b. dock confirmed final weighted average prices on ice pack parts based on truck load and pool truck load lots for this week's trading are: line run tenders $2.41 (based on 1,933,000 lbs.); skinless boneless breasts $2.1750 (based on 8,226,000 lbs.); whole breasts $1.29 (based on 1,722,000 lbs.); boneless skinless thigh meat $1.43 (based on 1,486,000 lbs.); thighs 77.00 (based on 1,327,000 lbs.); drumsticks 72.00 (based on 1,731,000 lbs.); leg quarters 53.00 (based on 9,079,000 lbs.); and wings $1.4450 (based on 3,717,000 lbs.). Demand on most parts is good to normal, mostly good; with the exceptions of boneless skinless thigh meat which is good to normal, mostly good, occasionally light; and leg quarters which is normal to good, mostly normal, occasionally light.

The Georgia f.o.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for this week's trading is $1.13. The final weighted average was $1.1189 f.o.b. dock or equivalent. The market tone for next week's trading is steady to firm to occasionally weak and the live supply is adequate to short for a good to normal demand. Average weights are desirable to a little heavy with a mostly steady, occasionally firm, higher and lower price trend. Estimated slaughter today is 4,819,300 head. This compares with 4,790,800 head last Tuesday.
The f.o.b. dock confirmed final weighted average prices on parts were: line run tenders $2.41 skinless boneless breasts $2.1750 whole breasts $1.29; boneless skinless thigh meat $1.43; thighs 77.00; drumsticks 72.00; leg quarters 53.00; and wings $1.4450. Cooler inventories and supplies on all parts are balanced to occasionally light with a mostly balanced to good, occasionally light demand. Price trend on all parts is mostly lower to higher, occasionally weak, steady and firm.

The Georgia f.o.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for next week's trading advanced .25 to $1.1325 based on full truck load lots of ice pack USDA grade "A" sized 2 to 3 pound birds. The market is firm to steady to occasionally weak and the live supply is adequate for a good to normal demand. Average weights are desirable to a little heavy. Estimated slaughter today is 4,817,700 head. This compares with 4,803,600 head last Wednesday.
The f.o.b. dock quoted prices on ice pack parts based on truck load and pool truck load lots for next week's trading are: line run tenders $2.4450; skinless boneless breasts $2.16; whole breasts $1.2550; boneless skinless thigh meat $1.4950; thighs 75.00; drumsticks 64.50; leg quarters 52.50 and wings $1.46. Demand on most parts is good to normal, mostly good; with the exceptions of line run tenders which is good to normal, mostly good, occasionally light; boneless skinless thigh meat which is good to light, occasionally normal; drumsticks which is normal to good, mostly normal; and leg quarters which is normal to good, mostly normal, occasionally light.

The Georgia f.o.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for this week's trading is $1.1325 based on full truck load lots of ice pack USDA grade "A" sized 2 to 3 pound birds. 43% (representing 441 loads) of the loads offered have been confirmed within a price range of $1.08 to $1.19 with a preliminary weighted average of $1.1322 f.o.b. dock or equivalent. The market is steady to firm to occasionally weak and the live supply is adequate to short for a good to normal demand. Average weights are desirable. Estimated slaughter today is 4,825,000 head. This compares with 4,787,100 head last Thursday.

The Georgia f.o.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for this week's trading is $1.1325 based on full truck load lots of ice pack USDA grade "A" sized 2 to 3 pound birds. 83% (representing 838 loads) of the loads offered have been confirmed within a range of $1.04 to $1.19 with a preliminary weighted average of $1.1234 f.o.b. dock or equivalent. The market is steady to firm to occasionally weak, and the live supply is adequate to short for a good to normal demand. Average weights are desirable to a little heavy. Estimated slaughter today is 4,740,400 head. This compares with 4,375,300 head last Friday.

Demand on most parts is good to normal, mostly good; with the exceptions of line run tenders and boneless skinless thigh meat which is good to normal, mostly good, occasionally light; and leg quarters which is normal to good, mostly normal, occasionally light.
Estimated hen slaughter for the week ending today is 289,113 head. Estimated hen slaughter for the corresponding week a year ago was 301,748 head.
Estimated total slaughter for the week ending today for broilers and fryers is 22,991,100 head. This compares with 25,573,100 head of broilers and fryers for the corresponding week a year ago.
