The Georgia f.o.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for this week's trading is $1.1275 based on full truck load lots of ice pack USDA grade "A" sized 2 to 3 pound birds. 100% (representing 1,015 loads) of the loads offered have been confirmed within a range of $1.01 to $1.1918 with a final weighted average of $1.1175 f.o.b. dock or equivalent. The market is steady to firm and the live supply is adequate to short for a good to normal demand. Average weights are desirable. Estimated slaughter for today is 4,783,200 head. This compares with 4,616,000 head last Monday.
The f.o.b. dock confirmed final weighted average prices on ice pack parts based on truck load and pool truck load lots for this week's trading are: line run tenders $2.40 (based on 2,003,000 lbs.); skinless boneless breasts $2.19 (based on 8,190,000 lbs.); whole breasts $1.3050 (based on 1,818,000 lbs.); boneless skinless thigh meat $1.50 (based on 1,442,000 lbs.); thighs 78.00 (based on 1,327,000 lbs.); drumsticks 75.50 (based on 1,507,000 lbs.); leg quarters 56.00 (based on 9,079,000 lbs.); and wings $1.3950 (based on 3,642,000 lbs.). Demand on line run tenders and wings is good to normal, mostly good, occasionally very good; demand on skinless boneless breasts is good to normal, mostly good, occasionally light; demand on whole breasts, thighs, drumsticks and leg quarters is good to normal, mostly good; and demand on boneless skinless thigh meat is good to light, mostly good.

The Georgia f.o.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for this week's trading is $1.1275. The final weighted average was $1.1175 f.o.b. dock or equivalent. The market tone for next week's trading is steady to firm and the live supply is adequate to short for a good to normal demand. Average weights are desirable with a mostly steady to occasionally weak, firm and lower price trend. Estimated slaughter today is 4,755,000 head. This compares with 4,738,000 head last Tuesday.
The f.o.b. dock confirmed final weighted average prices on parts were: line run tenders $2.40; skinless boneless breasts $2.19 whole breasts $1.3050; boneless skinless thigh meat $1.50; thighs 78.00; drumsticks 75.50; leg quarters 56.00; and wings $1.3950. Cooler inventories and supplies on all parts are balanced to occasionally light and heavy with a mostly good to balanced, occasionally light demand. Price trend on all parts is mostly lower to higher, occasionally firm, weak and steady.

6 AUGUST 2014 WEDNESDAY The Georgia f.o.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for next week's trading remains unchanged at $1.1275 based on full truck load lots of ice pack USDA grade "A" sized 2 to 3 pound birds. The market is steady to firm, and the live supply is adequate to short for a good to normal demand. Average weights are desirable. Estimated slaughter today is 4,796,800 head. This compares with 4,710,700 head last Wednesday.
The f.o.b. dock quoted prices on ice pack parts based on truck load and pool truck load lots for next week's trading are: line run tenders $2.4550; skinless boneless breasts $2.19; whole breasts $1.29; boneless skinless thigh meat $1.5350; thighs 76.50; drumsticks 69.50; leg quarters 55.50 and wings $1.4050. Demand on most parts is good to normal, mostly good; with the exceptions of skinless boneless breasts and boneless skinless thigh meat which is good to normal, mostly good, occasionally light; and drumsticks which is normal to good, mostly normal.

The Georgia f.o.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for this week's trading is $1.1275 based on full truck load lots of ice pack USDA grade "A" sized 2 to 3 pound birds. 79% (representing 790 loads) of the loads offered have been confirmed within a price range of $1.04 to $1.19 with a preliminary weighted average of $1.1211 f.o.b. dock or equivalent. The market is steady to firm, and the live supply is adequate for a normal to good demand. Average weights are desirable. Estimated slaughter today is 4,637,400 head. This compares with 4,726,200 head last Thursday.

The Georgia f.o.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for this week's trading is $1.1275 based on full truck load lots of ice pack USDA grade "A" sized 2 to 3 pound birds. 85% (representing 861 loads) of the loads offered have been confirmed within a range of $1.04 to $1.19 with a preliminary weighted average of $1.1212 f.o.b. dock or equivalent. The market is steady to firm, and the live supply is adequate to short for a good to normal demand. Average weights are desirable. Estimated slaughter today is 4,664,600 head. This compares with 4,684,800 head last Friday.

Demand on most parts is good to normal, mostly good; with the exceptions of skinless boneless breasts which is good to normal, mostly good, occasionally light; and boneless skinless thigh meat which is good to light, mostly good.
Estimated hen slaughter for the week ending today is 214,554 head. Estimated hen slaughter for the corresponding week a year ago was 227,875 head.
Estimated total slaughter for the week ending today for broilers and fryers is 23,637,000 head. This compares with 23,737,600 head of broilers and fryers for the corresponding week a year ago.
