The Georgia f.o.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for this week's trading is $1.1250 based on full truck load lots of ice pack USDA grade "A" sized 2 to 3 pound birds. 100% (representing 1,014 loads) of the loads offered have been confirmed within a range of $1.04 to $1.19 with a final weighted average of $1.1202 f.o.b. dock or equivalent. The market is firm to steady and the live supply is adequate to short for a good to normal demand. Average weights are desirable. Estimated slaughter for today is 4,727,400 head. This compares with 4,618,900 head last Monday.
The f.o.b. dock confirmed final weighted average prices on ice pack parts based on truck load and pool truck load lots for this week's trading are: line run tenders $2.4050 (based on 1,959,000 lbs.); skinless boneless breasts $2.22 (based on 7,818,000 lbs.); whole breasts $1.3050 (based on 1,754,000 lbs.); boneless skinless thigh meat $1.4550 (based on 1,632,000 lbs.); thighs 77.50 (based on 1,327,000 lbs.); drumsticks 70.00 (based on 1,935,000 lbs.); leg quarters 55.50 (based on 9,149,000 lbs.); and wings $1.36 (based on 3,733,000 lbs.). Demand on most parts is good to normal, mostly good; with the exception of boneless skinless thigh meat which is good.

The Georgia f.o.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for this week's trading is $1.1250. The final weighted average was $1.1202 f.o.b. dock or equivalent. The market tone for next week's trading is firm to steady and the live supply is adequate to short for a good to normal demand. Average weights are desirable with a mostly steady to firm to occasionally lower and weak price trend. Estimated slaughter today is 4,755,800 head. This compares with 4,708,900 head last Tuesday.
The f.o.b. dock confirmed final weighted average prices on parts were: line run tenders $2.4050; skinless boneless breasts $2.22 whole breasts $1.3050; boneless skinless thigh meat $1.4550; thighs 77.50; drumsticks 70.00; leg quarters 55.50; and wings $1.36. Cooler inventories and supplies on all parts are balanced to occasionally light and heavy with a mostly good to balanced demand. Price trend on all parts is mostly lower to higher, occasionally firm, steady and weak.

16 JULY 2014 WEDNESDAY The Georgia f.o.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for next week's trading advanced .25 to $1.1275 based on full truck load lots of ice pack USDA grade "A" sized 2 to 3 pound birds. The market is steady to firm, and the live supply is adequate to a little short for a good to normal demand. Average weights are desirable. Estimated slaughter today is 4,699,300 head. This compares with 4,780,200 head last Wednesday.
The f.o.b. dock quoted prices on ice pack parts based on truck load and pool truck load lots for next week's trading are: line run tenders $2.47; skinless boneless breasts $2.2450; whole breasts $1.29; boneless skinless thigh meat $1.53; thighs 76.50; drumsticks 67.50; leg quarters 55.50 and wings $1.3950. Demand on all parts is good to normal, mostly good.

The market is steady to firm, and the live supply is adequate to a little short for a good to normal demand. Average weights are desirable. Estimated slaughter today is 4,783,000 head. This compares with 4,752,400 head last Thursday.

The market is steady to firm, and the live supply is adequate for a good to normal demand. Average weights are desirable. Estimated slaughter today is 4,677,500 head. This compares with 4,536,300 head last Friday.

Demand on most parts is good to normal, mostly good; with the exceptions of boneless skinless breasts which is good; and boneless skinless thigh meat which is good to normal.
Estimated hen slaughter for the week ending today is 292,480 head. Estimated hen slaughter for the corresponding week a year ago was 248,997 head.
Estimated total slaughter for the week ending today for broilers and fryers is 23,643,000 head. This compares with 23,766,300 head of broilers and fryers for the corresponding week a year ago.
