7 JULY 2014 MONDAY The Georgia f.o.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for this week's trading is $1.1225 based on full truck load lots of ice pack USDA grade "A" sized 2 to 3 pound birds. 100% (representing 1,015 loads) of the loads offered have been confirmed within a range of $1.04 to $1.19 with a final weighted average of $1.1197 f.o.b. dock or equivalent. The market is firm to steady and the live supply is adequate to short for a good to normal demand. Average weights are desirable. Estimated slaughter for today is 4,618,900 head. This compares with 4,821,800 head last Monday.
The f.o.b. dock confirmed final weighted average prices on ice pack parts based on truck load and pool truck load lots for this week's trading are: line run tenders $2.45 (based on 1,926,000 lbs.); skinless boneless breasts $2.21 (based on 8,002,000 lbs.); whole breasts $1.30 (based on 1,682,000 lbs.); boneless skinless thigh meat $1.57 (based on 1,211,000 lbs.); thighs 76.00 (based on 1,327,000 lbs.); drumsticks 68.00 (based on 1,878,000 lbs.); leg quarters 55.50 (based on 9,149,000 lbs.); and wings $1.35 (based on 3,715,000 lbs.). Demand on all parts is good to normal, mostly good.
8 JULY 2014 TUESDAY The Georgia f.o.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for this week's trading is $1.1225. The final weighted average was $1.1197 f.o.b. dock or equivalent. The market tone for next week's trading is steady to firm and the live supply is adequate for a good to normal demand. Average weights are desirable with a mostly weak to steady and firm, occasionally higher, price trend. Estimated slaughter today is 4,708,900 head. This compares with 4,753,300 head last Tuesday.
The f.o.b. dock confirmed final weighted average prices on parts were: line run tenders $2.45; skinless boneless breasts $2.21 whole breasts $1.30; boneless skinless thigh meat $1.57; thighs 76.00; drumsticks 68.00; leg quarters 55.50; and wings $1.35. Cooler inventories and supplies on all parts are balanced to occasionally light with a mostly balanced to good demand. Price trend on all parts is mostly lower to higher, firm and steady.

The market is firm to steady, and the live supply is adequate for a good to normal demand. Average weights are desirable. Estimated slaughter today is 4,780,200 head. This compares with 4,764,100 head last Wednesday.

The market is firm to steady, and the live supply is adequate to a little short for a good to normal demand. Average weights are desirable. Estimated slaughter today is 4,536,300 head. This compares with 3,121,300 head last Friday and Saturday.

Demand on most parts is good to normal, mostly good; with the exception of boneless skinless thigh meat which is good.
Estimated hen slaughter for the week ending today is 322,662 head. Estimated hen slaughter for the corresponding week a year ago was 197,258 head.
Estimated total slaughter for the week ending today for broilers and fryers is 23,396,700 head. This compares with 23,589,700 head of broilers and fryers for the corresponding week a year ago.
