The Georgia f.o.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for this week's trading is $1.1175 based on full truck load lots of ice pack USDA grade "A" sized 2 to 3 pound birds. 100% (representing 1,016 loads) of the loads offered have been confirmed within a range of $1.0165 to $1.17 with a final weighted average of $1.1167 f.o.b. dock or equivalent. The market is firm to steady and the live supply is adequate to short for a good to normal demand. Average weights are desirable. Estimated slaughter for today is 4,821,800 head. This compares with 4,807,800 head last Monday.
The f.o.b. dock confirmed final weighted average prices on ice pack parts based on truck load and pool truck load lots for this week's trading are: line run tenders $2.41 (based on 1,966,000 lbs.); skinless boneless breasts $2.2350 (based on 7,758,000 lbs.); whole breasts $1.3050 (based on 1,682,000 lbs.); boneless skinless thigh meat $1.4750 (based on 1,631,000 lbs.); thighs 77.00 (based on 1,327,000 lbs.); drumsticks 68.00 (based on 2,149,000 lbs.); leg quarters 55.50 (based on 9,149,000 lbs.); and wings $1.35 (based on 3,732,000 lbs.). Demand on most parts is good to normal, mostly good; with the exception of boneless skinless thigh meat which is good to normal, mostly good, occasionally very good.

The market tone for next week's trading is firm to steady and the live supply is adequate to short for a good to normal demand. Average weights are desirable to a little light with a mostly firm to steady, occasionally higher, price trend. Estimated slaughter today is 4,753,300 head. This compares with 4,762,900 head last Tuesday.
The f.o.b. dock confirmed final weighted average prices on parts were: line run tenders $2.41; skinless boneless breasts $2.2350 whole breasts $1.3050; boneless skinless thigh meat $1.4750; thighs 77.00; drumsticks 68.00; leg quarters 55.50; and wings $1.35. Cooler inventories and supplies on all parts are balanced to occasionally light and heavy with a mostly good to balanced to occasionally very good demand. The market is firm to steady, and the live supply is adequate to short for a good to normal demand. Average weights are desirable to a little light. Estimated slaughter today is 4,764,100 head. This compares with 4,734,900 head last Wednesday.
The f.o.b. dock quoted prices on ice pack parts based on truck load and pool truck load lots for next week's trading are: line run tenders $2.4550; skinless boneless breasts $2.25; whole breasts $1.2950; boneless skinless thigh meat $1.53; thighs 76.00; drumsticks 67.00; leg quarters 55.50 and wings $1.3550. Demand on all parts is good to normal, mostly good.

3 JULY 2014 THURSDAY The Georgia f.o.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for this week's trading is $1.1225 based on full truck load lots of ice pack USDA grade "A" sized 2 to 3 pound birds. 76% (representing 776) of the loads offered have been confirmed within a price range of $1.04 to $1.19 with a preliminary weighted average of $1.1172 f.o.b. dock or equivalent. The market is firm to steady, and the live supply is adequate to short for a good to normal demand. Average weights are desirable. Estimated slaughter today is 4,773,000 head. This compares with 4,743,500 head last Thursday. Estimated slaughter for Friday and Saturday is 3,121,300 head. This compares with 4,592,700 head last Friday.
Estimated total slaughter for the week ending Saturday for broilers and fryers is 22,233,500 head. This compares with 22,242,800 head of broilers and fryers for the corresponding week a year ago.
