The Georgia f.o.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for this week's trading is $1.1075 based on full truck load lots of ice pack USDA grade "A" sized 2 to 3 pound birds. 100% (representing 1,011 loads) of the loads offered have been confirmed within a range of 99.00 to $1.1680 with a final weighted average of $1.1137 f.o.b. dock or equivalent. The market is steady to firm and the live supply is adequate for a good to normal demand. Average weights are desirable. Estimated slaughter for today is 4,604,800 head. This compares with 4,772,300 head last Monday.
The f.o.b. dock confirmed final weighted average prices on ice pack parts based on truck load and pool truck load lots for this week's trading are: line run tenders $2.3950 (based on 2,057,000 lbs.); skinless boneless breasts $2.2150 (based on 8,126,000 lbs.); whole breasts $1.3050 (based on 1,813,000 lbs.); boneless skinless thigh meat $1.44 (based on 1,953,000 lbs.); thighs 77.50 (based on 1,327,000 lbs.); drumsticks 70.00 (based on 1,976,000 lbs.); leg quarters 56.00 (based on 9,234,000 lbs.); and wings $1.3350 (based on 3,812,000 lbs.). Demand on line run tenders, boneless skinless breasts, leg quarters and wings is normal to good, mostly normal; demand on whole breasts, thighs and drumsticks is good to normal, mostly good; and demand on boneless skinless thigh meat is good to very good, mostly good, occasionally normal.

The market tone for next week's trading is firm to steady and the live supply is adequate to short for a good to normal demand. Average weights are desirable to a little light with a higher to weak and firm price trend. Estimated slaughter today is 4,744,600 head. This compares with 4,771,800 head last Tuesday.
The f.o.b. dock confirmed final weighted average prices on parts were: line run tenders $2.3850; skinless boneless breasts $2.23 whole breasts $1.30; boneless skinless thigh meat $1.4650; thighs 77.00; drumsticks 69.50; leg quarters 55.50; and wings $1.3350. Cooler inventories and supplies on all parts are balanced to light to occasionally heavy with a mostly balanced to good demand. Price trend on all parts is mostly lower to higher, occasionally firm and steady.
