9 JUNE 2014 MONDAY The Georgia f.o.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for this week's trading is $1.1025 based on full truck load lots of ice pack USDA grade "A" sized 2 to 3 pound birds. 100% (representing 1,009 loads) of the loads offered have been confirmed within a range of $1.01 to $1.20 with a final weighted average of $1.1203 f.o.b. dock or equivalent. The market is firm to steady and the live supply is adequate to short for a good to normal demand. Average weights are desirable. Estimated slaughter for today is 4,772,300 head. This compares with 4,799,900 head last Monday.
The f.o.b. dock confirmed final weighted average prices on ice pack parts based on truck load and pool truck load lots for this week's trading are: line run tenders $2.3850 (based on 2,001,000 lbs.); skinless boneless breasts $2.23 (based on 7,741,000 lbs.); whole breasts $1.30 (based on 1,682,000 lbs.); boneless skinless thigh meat $1.4650 (based on 1,291,000 lbs.); thighs 77.00 (based on 1,327,000 lbs.); drumsticks 69.50 (based on 2,086,000 lbs.); leg quarters 55.50 (based on 9,149,000 lbs.); and wings $1.3350 (based on 3,812,000 lbs.). Demand on most parts is good to normal, mostly good; with the exceptions of skinless boneless breasts which is good to very good, mostly good, occasionally normal; and boneless skinless thigh meat which is good to normal, mostly good, occasionally very good.

The Georgia f.o.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for this week's trading is $1.1025. The final weighted average was $1.1203 f.o.b. dock or equivalent. The market tone for next week's trading is firm to steady and the live supply is adequate to short for a good to normal demand. Average weights are desirable to a little light with a higher to weak and firm price trend. Estimated slaughter today is 4,744,600 head. This compares with 4,771,800 head last Tuesday.
The f.o.b. dock confirmed final weighted average prices on parts were: line run tenders $2.3850; skinless boneless breasts $2.23 whole breasts $1.30; boneless skinless thigh meat $1.4650; thighs 77.00; drumsticks 69.50; leg quarters 55.50; and wings $1.3350. Cooler inventories and supplies on all parts are balanced to light to occasionally heavy with a mostly balanced to good demand. Price trend on all parts is mostly lower to higher, occasionally firm and steady.
11 JUNE 2014 WEDNESDAY The Georgia f.o.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for next week's trading advanced .50 to $1.1075 based on full truck load lots of ice pack USDA grade "A" sized 2 to 3 pound birds. The market is firm to steady, and the live supply is adequate to short for a good to normal demand. Average weights are desirable to a little light. Estimated slaughter today is 4,758,000 head. This compares with 4,759,000 head last Wednesday.
The f.o.b. dock quoted prices on ice pack parts based on truck load and pool truck load lots for next week's trading are: line run tenders $2.43; skinless boneless breasts $2.22; whole breasts $1.30; boneless skinless thigh meat $1.53; thighs 75.00; drumsticks 66.00; leg quarters 55.50 and wings $1.33. Demand on line run tenders, skinless boneless breasts, drumsticks and leg quarters is normal to good, mostly normal; and demand on whole breasts, boneless skinless thigh meat, thighs and wings is good to normal, mostly good.
