The Georgia f.o.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for this week's trading is $1.0875 based on full truck load lots of ice pack USDA grade "A" sized 2 to 3 pound birds. 100% (representing 1,003 loads) of the loads offered have been confirmed within a range of 91.65 to $1.1600 with a final weighted average of $1.0982 f.o.b. dock or equivalent. The market is firm to steady and the live supply is adequate to short for a good to normal demand. Average weights are desirable to light. Estimated slaughter for today is 4,728,100 head. This compares with 4,759,300 head last Monday.
The f.o.b. dock confirmed final weighted average prices on ice pack parts based on truck load and pool truck load lots for this week's trading are: line run tenders $2.3350 (based on 1,932,000 lbs.); skinless boneless breasts $2.1150 (based on 7,997,000 lbs.); whole breasts $1.2150 (based on 1,807,000 lbs.); boneless skinless thigh meat $1.3850 (based on 1,849,000 lbs.); thighs 76.00 (based on 1,327,000 lbs.); drumsticks 67.50 (based on 2,020,000 lbs.); leg quarters 55.00 (based on 9,324,000 lbs.); and wings $1.32 (based on 3,845,000 lbs.). Demand on line run tenders and skinless boneless breasts is good to normal, mostly good, occasionally very good; demand on whole breasts is good to very good, mostly good, occasionally normal; demand on boneless skinless thigh meat, thighs, drumsticks and leg quarters is good to normal, mostly good; and demand wings is normal to good, mostly normal, occasionally light.

The market tone for next week's trading is firm to steady and the live supply is adequate to short for a good to normal demand. Average weights are desirable to a little light with a mostly steady to higher and firm, occasionally lower, price trend. Estimated slaughter today is 4,745,700 head. This compares with 4,689,500 head last Tuesday.
The f.o.b. dock confirmed final weighted average prices on parts were: line run tenders $2.3350; skinless boneless breasts $2.1150 whole breasts $1.2150; boneless skinless thigh meat $1.3850; thighs 76.00; drumsticks 67.50; leg quarters 55.00; and wings $1.32. Cooler inventories and supplies on all parts are balanced to light with a mostly good to balanced, occasionally light demand. Price trend on all parts is mostly lower to higher, occasionally weak and steady.
