The Georgia f.o.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for this week's trading is $1.0625 based on full truck load lots of ice pack USDA grade "A" sized 2 to 3 pound birds. 100% (representing 1,002 loads) of the loads offered have been confirmed within a range of 91.65 to $1.1192 with a final weighted average of $1.0648 f.o.b. dock or equivalent. The market is firm to steady and the live supply is adequate to short for good to normal demand. Average weights are desirable to occasionally light. Estimated slaughter today is 4,735,500 head. This compares with 4,752,100 head last Monday.
The f.o.b. dock confirmed final weighted average prices on ice pack parts based on truck load and pool truck load lots for this week's trading are: line run tenders $2.1550 (based on 1,804,000 lbs.); skinless boneless breasts $2.06 (based on 7,669,000 lbs.); whole breasts $1.12 (based on 1,879,000 lbs.); boneless skinless thigh meat $1.4550 (based on 1,231,000 lbs.); thighs 75.00 (based on 1,327,000 lbs.); drumsticks 74.50 (based on 1,347,000 lbs.); leg quarters 54.00 (based on 9,379,000 lbs.); and wings $1.37 (based on 3,483,000 lbs.). Demand on line run tenders and whole breasts is good to very good, occasionally normal; demand on skinless boneless breasts is good to normal, mostly good, occasionally very good; demand on boneless skinless thigh meat is good to very good, mostly good; and demand on thighs, drumsticks, leg quarters, and wings is good to normal, mostly good.

The Georgia f.o.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for this week's trading is $1.0625. The final weighted average was $1.0648 f.o.b. dock or equivalent. The market tone for next week's trading is firm to steady and the live supply is adequate to short for a good to normal demand. Average weights are desirable to a little light with a mostly higher to steady and firm price trend. Estimated slaughter today is 4,713,100 head. This compares with 4,725,500 head last Tuesday.
The f.o.b. dock confirmed final weighted average prices on parts were: line run tenders $2.1550; skinless boneless breasts $2.06 whole breasts $1.12; boneless skinless thigh meat $1.4550; thighs 75.00; drumsticks 74.50; leg quarters 54.00; and wings $1.37. Cooler inventories and supplies on all parts are balanced to occasionally light and heavy with a demand ranging good to balanced, occasionally very good. Price trend on all parts is mostly lower to higher, occasionally weak, firm and steady.

9 APRIL 2014 WEDNESDAY The Georgia f.o.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for next week's trading advanced .75 to $1.07 based on full truck load lots of ice pack USDA grade "A" sized 2 to 3 pound birds. The market is firm to steady, and the live supply is adequate to short for a good to normal demand. Average weights are desirable to a little light. Estimated slaughter today is 4,731,300 head. This compares with 4,720,800 head last Wednesday.
The f.o.b. dock quoted prices on ice pack parts based on truck load and pool truck load lots for next week's trading are: line run tenders $2.18; skinless boneless breasts $2.01; whole breasts $1.12; boneless skinless thigh meat $1.4650; thighs 70.50; drumsticks 64.50; leg quarters 53.00 and wings $1.37. Demand on most parts is good to normal, mostly good; with the exceptions of line run tenders which is very good to normal, occasionally good; skinless boneless breasts which is good to normal, mostly good, occasionally very good; and whole breasts which is good to very good, mostly good, occasionally normal.

The market is firm to steady, and the live supply is adequate to short for a good to normal demand. Average weights are desirable to occasionally light. Estimated slaughter today is 4,738,100 head. This compares with 4,717,600 head last Thursday.
