The Georgia f.o.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for this week's trading is $1.05 based on full truck load lots of ice pack USDA grade "A" sized 2 to 3 pound birds. 100% (representing 1,000 loads) of the loads offered have been confirmed within a range of 91.65 to $1.1059 with a final weighted average of $1.0547 f.o.b. dock or equivalent. The market is firm to steady and the live supply is adequate to short for a good to normal demand. Average weights are desirable to occasionally light. Estimated slaughter today is 4,598,900 head. This compares with 4,736,100 head last Monday.

The f.o.b. dock confirmed final weighted average prices on ice pack parts based on truck load and pool truck load lots for this week's trading are: line run tenders $1.96 (based on 1,732,000 lbs.); skinless boneless breasts $1.96 (based on 7,497,000 lbs.); whole breasts $1.06 (based on 1,807,000 lbs.); boneless skinless thigh meat $1.4450 (based on 1,251,000 lbs.); thighs 73.00 (based on 1,328,000 lbs.); drumsticks 73.00 (based on 1,347,000 lbs.); leg quarters 51.00 (based on 9,379,000 lbs.); and wings $1.30 (based on 3,483,000 lbs.). Demand on most parts is good to normal, mostly good; with the exception of skinless boneless breasts which is good to normal, mostly good, occasionally very good.

The Georgia f.o.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for this week's trading is $1.05. The final weighted average was $1.0547 f.o.b. dock or equivalent. The market tone for next week's trading is firm to steady and the live supply is adequate to short for a good to normal to demand. Average weights are desirable to occasionally light with a steady to higher and firm price trend. Estimated slaughter today is 4,685,700 head. This compares with 4,754,900 head last Tuesday.
The f.o.b. dock confirmed final weighted average prices on parts were: line run tenders $1.96; skinless boneless breasts $1.96 whole breasts $1.06; boneless skinless thigh meat $1.4450; thighs 73.00; drumsticks 73.00; leg quarters 51.00; and wings $1.30. Cooler inventories and supplies on all parts are balanced to light with a demand ranging good to balanced, occasionally very good. Price trend on all parts is mostly lower to higher, occasionally steady.

19 MARCH 2014 WEDNESDAY The Georgia f.o.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for next week's trading advanced .50 to $1.0550 based on full truck load lots of ice pack USDA grade "A" sized 2 to 3 pound birds. The market is firm to steady, and the live supply is adequate to short for a good to normal demand. Average weights are desirable to occasionally light. Estimated slaughter today is 4,599,400 head. This compares with 4,771,500 head last Wednesday.
The f.o.b. dock quoted prices on ice pack parts based on truck load and pool truck load lots for next week's trading are: line run tenders $1.98; skinless boneless breasts $1.90; whole breasts $1.02; boneless skinless thigh meat $1.44; thighs 68.50; drumsticks 62.50; leg quarters 50.00 and wings $1.31. Demand on most parts is good to normal, mostly good with the exception of skinless boneless breasts which is good to normal, mostly good, occasionally very good.

The Georgia f.o.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for this week's trading is $1.0550 based on full truck load lots of ice pack USDA grade "A" sized 2 to 3 pound birds. 75% (representing 751 loads) of the loads offered have been confirmed within a price range of 99.86 to $1.1075 with a preliminary weighted average of $1.0536 f.o.b. dock or equivalent. The market is firm to steady, and the live supply is adequate to short for a good to normal demand. Average weights are desirable to light. Estimated slaughter today is 4,567,200 head. This compares with 4,761,100 head last Thursday.

The Georgia f.o.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for this week's trading is $1.0550 based on full truck load lots of ice pack USDA grade "A" sized 2 to 3 pound birds. 87% (representing 873 loads) of the loads offered have been confirmed within a range of 99.86 to $1.1075 with a preliminary weighted average of $1.0562 f.o.b. dock or equivalent. The market is steady to firm and the live supply is adequate to short for a good to normal demand. Average weights are desirable to light. Estimated slaughter today is 4,522,100 head. This compares with 4,462,100 head last Friday and Saturday.

Demand on all parts is good to normal, mostly good.
Estimated hen slaughter for the week ending today is 217,844 head. Estimated hen slaughter for the corresponding week a year ago was 54,675 head.
Estimated total slaughter for the week ending today for broilers and fryers is 22,973,300 head. This compares with 23,244,600 head of broilers and fryers for the corresponding week a year ago.
