The Georgia f.o.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for this week's trading is $1.0450 based on full truck load lots of ice pack USDA grade "A" sized 2 to 3 pound birds. 100% (representing 998 loads) of the loads offered have been confirmed within a range of 91.65 to $1.0821 with a final weighted average of $1.0408 f.o.b. dock or equivalent. The market is steady and the live supply is adequate to short for a good to normal demand. Average weights are desirable to a little light. Estimated slaughter today is 4,607,800 head. This compares with 4,868,700 head last Monday.

The f.o.b. dock confirmed final weighted average prices on ice pack parts based on truck load and pool truck load lots for this week's trading are: line run tenders $1.8950 (based on 1,732,000 lbs.); skinless boneless breasts $1.89 (based on 7,497,000 lbs.); whole breasts $1.03 (based on 1,807,000 lbs.); boneless skinless thigh meat $1.4250 (based on 1,251,000 lbs.); thighs 74.00 (based on 1,328,000 lbs.); drumsticks 72.50 (based on 1,347,000 lbs.); leg quarters 50.50 (based on 9,379,000 lbs.); and wings $1.29 (based on 3,483,000 lbs.). Demand on most parts is good to normal, mostly good; with the exceptions of whole breasts which is normal to good, mostly normal; boneless skinless thigh meat which is good to light, mostly good, occasionally normal; and wings which is normal to good, occasionally light.

The Georgia f.o.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for this week's trading is $1.0450. The final weighted average was $1.0408 f.o.b. dock or equivalent. The market tone for next week's trading is steady and the live supply is adequate for a good to normal demand. Average weights are desirable to a little light with a mostly steady, occasionally lower, price trend. Estimated slaughter today is 4,612,500 head. This compares with 4,756,600 head last Tuesday.

The f.o.b. dock confirmed final weighted average prices on parts were: line run tenders $1.8950; skinless boneless breasts $1.89 whole breasts $1.03; boneless skinless thigh meat $1.4250; thighs 74.00; drumsticks 72.50; leg quarters 50.50; and wings $1.29. Cooler inventories and supplies on all parts are balanced to light with a demand ranging good to balanced, to occasionally light. Price trend on all parts is mostly lower to higher, occasionally steady.

5 MARCH 2014 WEDNESDAY The Georgia f.o.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for next week's trading advanced .25 to $1.0475 based on full truck load lots of ice pack USDA grade "A" sized 2 to 3 pound birds. The market is steady to occasionally firm, and the live supply is adequate to short for a good to normal demand. Average weights are desirable to occasionally light. Estimated slaughter today is 4,627,300 head. This compares with 4,700,400 head last Wednesday.
The f.o.b. dock quoted prices on ice pack parts based on truck load and pool truck load lots for next week's trading are: line run tenders $1.87; skinless boneless breasts $1.83; whole breasts 99.00; boneless skinless thigh meat $1.44; thighs 69.00; drumsticks 63.00; leg quarters 49.50 and wings $1.2750. Demand on most parts is good to normal, mostly good; with the exceptions of boneless skinless thigh meat which is good to light, occasionally normal; and wings which is normal to good, occasionally light.

The Georgia f.o.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for this week's trading is $1.0475 based on full truck load lots of ice pack USDA grade "A" sized 2 to 3 pound birds. 75% (representing 748 loads) of the loads offered have been confirmed within a price range of 99.00 to $1.0800 with a preliminary weighted average of $1.0478 f.o.b. dock or equivalent. The market is steady to slightly firm, and the live supply is adequate to short for a good to normal demand. Average weights are desirable to light. Estimated slaughter today is 4,692,600 head. This compares with 4,749,200 head last Thursday.

The Georgia f.o.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for this week's trading is $1.0475 based on full truck load lots of ice pack USDA grade "A" sized 2 to 3 pound birds. 87% (representing 872 loads) of the loads offered have been confirmed within a range of 99.00 to $1.1051 with a preliminary weighted average of $1.0475 f.o.b. dock or equivalent. The market is steady to occasionally firm, and the live supply is adequate to short for a good to normal demand. Average weights are desirable to occasionally light. Estimated slaughter today is 4,517,900 head. This compares with 4,416,800 head last Friday and Saturday.

Demand on most parts is good to normal, mostly good; with the exceptions of whole breasts which is normal to good; boneless skinless thigh meat which is good to light, mostly good; and wings which is good to normal, mostly good, occasionally light.
Estimated hen slaughter for the week ending today is 392,000 head. Estimated hen slaughter for the corresponding week a year ago was 135,226 head.
