The Georgia f.o.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for this week's trading is $1.0025 based on full truck load lots of ice pack USDA grade "A" sized 2~ to 3 pound birds. 100% (representing 1,001 loads) of the loads offered have been confirmed within a range of 94.97 to $1.0568 with a final weighted average of $1.0011 f.o.b. dock or equivalent. The market is steady to firm and the live supply is adequate for a good to normal demand. Average weights are mostly desirable but are heavier than desired in a few instances. Estimated slaughter today is 4,708,000 head. This compares with 4,692,000 head last Monday.

The f.o.b. dock confirmed final weighted average prices on ice pack parts based on truck load and pool truck load lots for this week's trading are: line run tenders $1.9050 (based on 1,669,000 lbs.); skinless boneless breasts $1.6550 (based on 7,263,000 lbs.); whole breasts $1.0850 (based on 1,418,000 lbs.); boneless skinless thigh meat $1.3650 (based on 1,159,000 lbs.); thighs 74.50 (based on 1,327,000 lbs.); drumsticks 73.00 (based on 1,357,000 lbs.); leg quarters 54.50 (based on 9,302,000 lbs.); and wings $1.89 (based on 3,711,000 lbs.). Demand on most parts is good to normal, mostly good with the exceptions ofline run tenders and leg quarters which is normal to good, mostly normal; and wings which is good to light, mostly normal.

The Georgia f.o.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for this week's trading is $1.0025. The final weighted average was $1.0011 f.o.b. dock or equivalent. The market tone for next week's trading is firm to steady and the live supply is adequate for a good to normal demand. Average weights are mostly desirable with a mostly firm to steady price trend. Estimated slaughter today is 4,719,900 head. Estimated slaughter last Tuesday was 4,566,700 head.

The f.o.b. dock confirmed final weighted average prices on parts were: line run tenders $1.9050; skinless boneless breasts $1.6550; whole breasts $1.0850; boneless skinless thigh meat $1.3650; thighs 74.50; drumsticks 73.00; leg quarters 54.50; and wings $1.89. Cooler inventories and supplies on all parts are balanced to occasionally heavy in a few instances; with a demand ranging balanced to good; occasionally light. Price trend on all parts is mostly lower to higher.

The Georgia f.o.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for next week's trading advanced .25 to $1.0050 based on full truck load lots of ice pack USDA grade "A" sized 2~ to 3 pound birds. The market is steady to firm and the live supply is adequate for a good to normal demand. Average weights are mostly desirable. Estimated slaughter today is 4,693,200 head. This compares with 4,675,500 head last Wednesday.

The f.o.b. dock quoted prices on ice pack parts based on truck load and pool truck load Jots for next week's trading are: line run tenders $1.8550; skinless boneless breasts $1.6350; whole breasts $1.0850; boneless skinless thigh meat $1.36; thighs 72.50; drumsticks 64.50; leg quarters 54.00 and wings $1.8350. The f.o.b. dock confirmed preliminary weighted average prices on ice pack parts based on truck load and pool truck load lots for this week's trading are: line run tenders $1.88 (based on 1,510,000 lbs.); skinless boneless breasts $1.6850 (based on 6,222,000 lbs.); whole breasts $1.08 (based on 1,210,000 lbs.); boneless skinless thigh meat $1.36 (based on 1,104,000 lbs.); thighs 74.50 (based on 1,218,000 lbs.); drumsticks 72.50 (based on 1,080,000 lbs.); leg quarters 53.50 (based on 7,909,000 lbs.); and wings $1.7850 (based on 3,260,000 lbs.). Demand on most parts is good to normal, mostly good with the exceptions of line run tenders which is mostly normal, occasionally light to good; drumsticks which is good; leg quarters which is normal to good, mostly normal; and wings which ranges normal to light, occasionally good.
Estimated hen slaughter numbers for the week ending today are 170,875 head. Estimated hen slaughter for the corresponding week a year ago was 164,400 head. Last week's hen slaughter numbers were 254,890 head.
