The Georgia f.o.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for this week's trading is 99.75 based on full truck load lots of ice pack USDA grade "A" sized 2 to 3 pound birds. 100% (representing 1,007 loads) of the loads offered have been confirmed within a range of 94.97 to $1.0553 with a final weighted average of 99.81 f.o.b. dock or equivalent. The market is steady to firm and the live supply is adequate for a good to normal, occasionally light demand. Average weights are desirable. Estimated slaughter today is 4,363,800 head. This compares with 4,506,700 head last Monday.
The f.o.b. dock confirmed final weighted average prices on ice pack parts based on truck load and pool truck load lots for this week's trading are: line run tenders $1.88 (based on 1,741,000 lbs.); skinless boneless breasts $1.6450 (based on 7,294,000 lbs.); whole breasts $1.0550 (based on 1,454,000 lbs.); boneless skinless thigh meat $1.3550 (based on 1,231,000 lbs.); thighs 73.50 (based on 1,327,000 lbs.); drumsticks 72.50 (based on 1,357,000 lbs.); leg quarters 54.00 (based on 9,374,000 lbs.); and wings $2.0250 (based on 3,783,000 lbs.). Demand on most parts is good to normal, mostly good; with the exception of line run tenders and leg quarters which is normal to good, mostly normal; and wings which ranges very good to normal, mostly good.

The market tone for next week's trading is firm to steady and the live supply is adequate to a little short for a good to normal demand. Average weights are mostly desirable. Estimated slaughter today is 4,711,800 head. Estimated slaughter last Tuesday was 4,719,000.
The f.o.b. dock confirmed final weighted average prices on parts were: line run tenders $1.88; skinless boneless breasts $1.6450 whole breasts $1.0550; boneless skinless thigh meat $1.3550; thighs 73.50; drumsticks 72.50; leg quarters 54.00; and wings $2.0250. Cooler inventories and supplies on all parts are balanced; with a demand ranging good to balanced to occasionally light and very good. Price trend on all parts is mostly firm to weak, occasionally steady.

The market is firm to steady and the live supply is adequate to occasionally short for a good to normal demand. Average weights are mostly desirable. Estimated slaughter today is 4,489,000 head. This compares with 4,700,000 head last Wednesday.
The f.o.b. dock quoted prices on ice pack parts based on truck load and pool truck load lots for next week's trading are: line run tenders $1.8550; skinless boneless breasts $1.6150; whole breasts $1.05; boneless skinless thigh meat $1.3550; thighs 72.00; drumsticks 64.00; leg quarters 54.00; and wings $2.04. Demand on most parts is good to normal, mostly good with the exceptions of line run tenders which is normal to good, occasionally light; leg quarters which is normal to good, mostly normal; and wings which is very good to normal, mostly good and occasionally light.

Estimated hen slaughter numbers for the week ending today are 144,700 head. Estimated hen slaughter for the corresponding week a year ago was 246,100 head.
