The Georgia f.o.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for this week's trading is $1.0450. 100% (representing 1,001 loads) of the loads offered have been confirmed within a range of 89.00 to $1.1025 with a final weighted average of $1.0368 f.o.b. dock or equivalent. The market tone for next week's trading is steady to weak to slightly firm, and the live supply is adequate to short for a normal to good demand. Average weights are desirable to heavy in a few instances with a steady to weak and lower price trend. Estimated slaughter today is 4,585,500 head. This compares with 4,777,500 head last Tuesday. Monday's slaughter was 4,570,800 head. This compares with 4,751,900 head last Monday.
The f.o.b. dock confirmed final weighted average prices on ice pack parts based on truck load and pool truck load lots for this week's trading are: line run tenders $1.94 (based on 1,758,000 lbs.); skinless boneless breasts $1.88 (based on 7,608,000 lbs.); whole breasts $1.07 (based on 1,693,000 lbs.); boneless skinless thigh meat $1.38 (based on 1,251,000 lbs.); thighs 73.50 (based on 1,327,000 lbs.); drumsticks 71.50 (based on 1,347,000 lbs.); leg quarters 51.00 (based on 9,379,000 lbs.); and wings $1.28 (based on 3,483,000 lbs.). Cooler inventories and supplies on all parts are balanced to occasionally light and heavy with a demand ranging balanced to good to occasionally light. Price trend on all parts is lower to higher, occasionally steady and weak.

Estimated slaughter today is 4,661,700 head. This compares with 4,571,100 head last Wednesday.
The f.o.b. dock quoted prices on ice pack parts based on truck load and pool truck load lots for next week's trading are: line run tenders $1.82; skinless boneless breasts $1.79; whole breasts $1.04; boneless skinless thigh meat $1.38; thighs 70.50; drumsticks 62.00; leg quarters 50.00 and wings $1.2150. Demand on line run tenders and wings is normal to good, mostly normal, occasionally light; demand on skinless boneless breasts and leg quarters is good to normal, mostly good, occasionally light; demand on whole breasts is normal to light, mostly normal, occasionally good; demand on boneless skinless thigh meat is mostly good, normal to light; and demand on thighs and drumsticks is good to normal, mostly good.
