The Georgia f.o.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for this week's trading is $1.05 based on full truck load lots of ice pack USDA grade "A" sized 2 to 3 pound birds. 100% (representing 1003 loads) of the loads offered have been confirmed within a range of 86.00 to $1.1032 with a final weighted average of $1.0359 f.o.b. dock or equivalent. The market is mostly steady to weak and the live supply is adequate to short for a normal to good demand. Average weights are desirable to a little heavy in a few instances. Estimated slaughter today is 4,583,000 head. This compares to 4,562,900 head last Monday.
The f.o.b. dock confirmed final weighted average prices on ice pack parts based on truck load and pool truck load lots for this week's trading are: line run tenders $1.9650 (based on 1,834,000 lbs.); skinless boneless breasts $1.8450 (based on 7,739,000 lbs.); whole breasts $1.0850 (based on 1,784,000 lbs.); boneless skinless thigh meat $1.4450 (based on 1,251,000 lbs.); thighs 72.50 (based on 1,327,000 lbs.); drumsticks 72.00 (based on 1,347,000 lbs.); leg quarters 51.00 (based on 9,379,000 lbs.); and wings $1.3750 (based on 3,483,000 lbs.). Demand on line run tenders is mostly normal, good to light; demand on skinless boneless breasts is normal to good, mostly normal, occasionally light; demand on whole breasts is normal to good, mostly normal; demand on boneless skinless thigh meat is mostly good, light to normal; demand on thighs is good to normal, mostly good; demand on drumsticks and leg quarters is good to normal, mostly good, occasionally light; demand on wings is normal to good, occasionally light.

Estimated slaughter today is 4,604,400 head. This compares with 4,613,700 head last Wednesday.
The f.o.b. dock quoted prices on ice pack parts based on truck load and pool truck load lots for next week's trading are: line run tenders $1.9350; skinless boneless breasts $1.82; whole breasts $1.06; boneless skinless thigh meat $1.43; thighs 72.00; drumsticks 63.50; leg quarters 50.50 and wings $1.3350.
