The Georgia f.o.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for this week's trading is $1.0525 based on full truck load lots of ice pack USDA grade "A" sized 2 to 3 pound birds. 100% (representing 991 loads) of the loads offered have been confirmed within a range of 87.00 to $1.1042 with a final weighted average of $1.0400 f.o.b. dock or equivalent. The market is mostly steady to weak to slightly firm and the live supply is adequate to short for a normal to good demand. Average weights are desirable to a little heavy in a few instances. Estimated slaughter today is 4,562,900 head. This compares to 4,603,500 head last Monday.
The f.o.b. dock confirmed final weighted average prices on ice pack parts based on truck load and pool truck load lots for this week's trading are: line run tenders $2.0650 (based on 1,688,000 lbs.); skinless boneless breasts $1.9450 (based on 7,171,000 lbs.); whole breasts $1.12 (based on 1,558,000 lbs.); boneless skinless thigh meat $1.4550 (based on 1,171,000 lbs.); thighs 74.00 (based on 1,327,000 lbs.); drumsticks 74.50 (based on 1,257,000 lbs.); leg quarters 52.50 (based on 9,079,000 lbs.); and wings $1.4050 (based on 3,483,000 lbs.). Demand on line run tenders is normal to good, mostly normal, occasionally light; demand on skinless boneless breasts and leg quarters is good to normal, mostly good, occasionally light; demand on whole breasts is normal to good, mostly normal; demand on boneless skinless thigh meat is mostly good, occasionally light to normal; demand on thighs and drumsticks is good to normal, mostly good; and demand on wings is good to normal, occasionally light.

Average weights are desirable to a little heavy with a mostly weak to lower and steady price trend. Estimated slaughter today is 4,712,700 head. This compares with 4,751,700 head last Tuesday.
The f.o.b. dock confirmed final weighted average prices on parts were: line run tenders $2.0650; skinless boneless breasts $1.9450; whole breasts $1.12; boneless skinless thigh meat $1.4550; thighs 74.00; drumsticks 74.50; leg quarters 52.50; and wings $1.4050. Cooler inventories and supplies on all parts are balanced to occasionally light and heavy with a demand ranging mostly balanced to good to occasionally light. Price trend on all parts is mostly lower to higher, occasionally steady and weak.
