The Georgia f.o.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for this week's trading is $1.0550. 100% (representing 1,004 loads) of the loads offered have been confirmed within a range of 87.00 to $1.1058 with a final weighted average of $1.0392 f.o.b. dock or equivalent. The market tone for next week's trading is steady to weak and slightly firm, and the live supply is adequate to short for a normal to good demand. Average weights are desirable to a little heavy in a few instances with a steady to occasionally lower and weak price trend. Estimated slaughter today is 4,754,700 head. This compares with 4,751,700 head last Tuesday. Monday's slaughter was 4,603,500 head. This compares with 4,605,200 head last Monday.

The f.o.b. dock confirmed final weighted average prices on ice pack parts based on truck load and pool truck load lots for this week's trading are: line run tenders $2.06 (based on 1,722,000 lbs.); skinless boneless breasts $1.93 (based on 7,644,000 lbs.); whole breasts $1.1050 (based on 1,832,000 lbs.); boneless skinless thigh meat $1.4750 (based on 1,251,000 lbs.); thighs 74.50 (based on 1,327,000 lbs.); drumsticks 75.50 (based on 1,347,000 lbs.); leg quarters 53.00 (based on 9,374,000 lbs.); and wings $1.42 (based on 3,483,000 lbs.). Cooler inventories and supplies on all parts are balanced to occasionally light and heavy with a demand ranging balanced to good to occasionally light. Price trend on all parts is lower to steady, occasionally higher, weak, and firm.

The Georgia f.o.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for next week's trading declined .25 to $1.0525 based on full truck load lots of ice pack USDA grade "A" sized 2 to 3 pound birds. The market is steady to weak to slightly firm, and the live supply is adequate to short for a normal to good demand. Average weights are desirable to a little heavy in a few instances. Estimated slaughter today is 4,734,200 head. This compares with 4,764,100 head last Wednesday.

The f.o.b. dock quoted prices on ice pack parts based on truck load and pool truck load lots for next week's trading are: line run tenders $2.04; skinless boneless breasts $1.87; whole breasts $1.09; boneless skinless thigh meat $1.4950; thighs 73.00; drumsticks 65.50; leg quarters 52.50 and wings $1.43. Demand on most parts is good to normal, mostly good, occasionally light; demand on thighs and drumsticks is good to normal, mostly good; demand on whole breasts is normal to good, mostly normal.

The market is steady to weak to slightly firm, and the live supply is adequate to short for a normal to good demand. Average weights are desirable to a little heavy in a few instances. Estimated slaughter today is 4,695,300 head. This compares with 4,769,900 head last Thursday.

The market is steady to weak, and the live supply is adequate to short for a normal to good demand. Average weights are desirable to a little heavy in a few instances. Estimated slaughter today is 4,500,600 head. This compares with 4,569,000 head last Friday.

Demand on line run tenders, skinless boneless breasts, boneless skinless thigh meat and leg quarters is good to normal, mostly good, occasionally light; demand on whole breasts is normal to good, mostly normal; demand on thighs and drumsticks is good to normal, mostly good; and demand on wings is normal to good, occasionally light.
Estimated hen slaughter for the week ending today is 234,307 head. Estimated hen slaughter for the corresponding week a year ago was 265,896 head.
