The Georgia f.o.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for this week's trading is $1.0650 based on full truck load lots of ice pack USDA grade "A" sized 2 to 3 pound birds. 100% (representing 996 loads) of the loads offered have been confirmed within a range of 91.00 to $1.1110 with a final weighted average of $1.0483 f.o.b. dock or equivalent. The market is mostly steady to occasionally firm and slightly weak and the live supply is adequate to short for a normal to good demand. Average weights are desirable. Estimated slaughter today is 4,745,400 head. This compares to 4,775,600 head last Monday.

The f.o.b. dock confirmed final weighted average prices on ice pack parts based on truck load and pool truck load lots for this week's trading are: line run tenders $2.0950 (based on 1,804,000 lbs.); skinless boneless breasts $2.08 (based on 7,569,000 lbs.); whole breasts $1.2450 (based on 1,979,000 lbs.); boneless skinless thigh meat $1.4650 (based on 1,241,000 lbs.); thighs 73.00 (based on 1,327,000 lbs.); drumsticks 75.50 (based on 1,352,000 lbs.); leg quarters 53.50 (based on 9,374,000 lbs.); and wings $1.45 (based on 3,483,000 lbs.). Demand on most parts is good to normal, mostly good with the exceptions of line run tenders which is good to normal, mostly good, occasionally very good, whole breasts which is normal to good, boneless skinless thigh meat which is good, and wings which is good to normal, mostly good, occasionally light.

The Georgia f.o.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for this week's trading is $1.0650. The final weighted average was $1.0483 f.o.b. dock or equivalent. The market tone for next week's trading is mostly steady to occasionally weak, and the live supply is adequate to short for a normal to good demand. Average weights are desirable to with a mostly steady to occasionally weak and lower price trend. Estimated slaughter today is 4,760,500 head. This compares with 4,732,800 head last Tuesday.

The f.o.b. dock confirmed final weighted average prices on parts were: line run tenders $2.0950; skinless boneless breasts $2.08; whole breasts $1.2450; boneless skinless thigh meat $1.4650; thighs 73.00; drumsticks 75.50; leg quarters 53.50; and wings $1.45. Cooler inventories and supplies on all parts are balanced to occasionally light with a demand ranging mostly good to balanced, occasionally very good to light. Price trend on all parts is mostly lower to higher, occasionally weak, steady, and firm.
7 AUGUST 2013 WEDNESDAY The Georgia f.o.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for next week's trading remains unchanged at $1.0650 based on full truck load lots of ice pack USDA grade "A" sized 2 to 3 pound birds. The market is steady to occasionally firm and weak, and the live supply is adequate to short for a normal to good demand. Average weights are desirable. Estimated slaughter today is 4,750,800 head. This compares with 4,770,000 head last Wednesday.

The f.o.b. dock quoted prices on ice pack parts based on truck load and pool truck load lots for next week's trading are: line run tenders $2.13; skinless boneless breasts $2.0950; whole breasts $1.24; boneless skinless thigh meat $1.5450; thighs 72.50; drumsticks 66.00; leg quarters 53.50 and wings $1.4550. Demand on most parts is good to normal, mostly good, with the exceptions of line run tenders and skinless boneless breasts which is good to normal, mostly good, occasionally very good, boneless skinless thigh meat which is good, and wings which is good to normal, mostly good, occasionally light.

The market is steady to slightly firm and the live supply is adequate for a normal to good demand. Average weights are desirable but are a little heavier than desired in a few instances. Estimated slaughter today is 4,772,900 head. This compares with 4,808,200 head last Thursday.

The Georgia f.o.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for this week's trading is $1.0650 based on full truck load lots of ice pack USDA grade "A" sized 2 to 3 pound birds. 84% (representing 870 loads) of the loads offered have been confirmed within a range of 99.90 to $1.1110 with a preliminary weighted average of $1.0534 f.o.b. dock or equivalent. The market is steady to occasionally firm and the live supply is adequate for a normal to good demand. Average weights are desirable to slightly heavy in a few instances. Estimated slaughter today is 4,708,000 head. This compares with 4,404,400 head last Friday.

Demand on most parts is good to normal, mostly good, with the exceptions of line run tenders which is good to normal, mostly good, occasionally very good, whole breasts which is good to normal, boneless skinless thigh meat which is good, and wings which is good to normal, mostly good, occasionally light.
