The Georgia f.o.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for this week's trading is $1.0650 based on full truck load lots of ice pack USDA grade "A" sized 2 to 3 pound birds. 100% (representing 969 loads) of the loads offered have been confirmed within a range of 96.91 to $1.1125 with a final weighted average of $1.0560 f.o.b. dock or equivalent. The market is mostly steady, occasionally firm to slightly weak, and the live supply is adequate to short for a good to normal demand. Average weights are mostly desirable but are a little lighter than desired in a few instances. Estimated slaughter today is 4,735,900 head. This compares to 4,719,300 head last Monday.

The f.o.b. dock confirmed final weighted average prices on ice pack parts based on truck load and pool truck load lots for this week's trading are: line run tenders $2.10 (based on 1,802,000 lbs.); skinless boneless breasts $2.0950 (based on 7,569,000 lbs.); whole breasts $1.2750 (based on 1,939,000 lbs.); boneless skinless thigh meat $1.50 (based on 1,241,000 lbs.); thighs 75.00 (based on 1,327,000 lbs.); drumsticks 76.00 (based on 1,347,000 lbs.); leg quarters 54.00 (based on 9,374,000 lbs.); and wings $1.45 (based on 3,483,000 lbs.). Demand on most parts is good to normal, mostly good; with the exception of line run tenders which is good to normal, mostly good, occasionally very good.

The Georgia f.o.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for this week's trading is $1.0650. The final weighted average was $1.0560 f.o.b. dock or equivalent. The market tone for next week's trading is mostly steady, occasionally firm to slightly weak, and the live supply is adequate to short for a good to normal demand. Average weights are desirable to a little heavy in a few instances with a mostly steady price trend. Estimated slaughter today is 4,761,900 head. This compares with 4,729,500 head last Tuesday.

The f.o.b. dock confirmed final weighted average prices on parts were: line run tenders $2.10; skinless boneless breasts $2.0950; whole breasts $1.2750; boneless skinless thigh meat $1.50; thighs 75.00; drumsticks 76.00; leg quarters 54.00; and wings $1.45. Cooler inventories and supplies on all parts are balanced to occasionally light; with a demand ranging mostly good to balanced. Price trend on all parts is mostly lower to higher, occasionally weak, steady, and firm.

24 JULY 2013 WEDNESDAY The Georgia f.o.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for next week's trading remains unchanged at $1.0650 based on full truck load lots of ice pack USDA grade "A" sized 2 to 3 pound birds. The market is mostly steady, occasionally weak to firm, and the live supply is adequate to short for a good to normal demand. Average weights are desirable to a little heavy in a few instances. Estimated slaughter today is 4,753,400 head. This compares with 4,807,800 head last Wednesday.

The f.o.b. dock quoted prices on ice pack parts based on truck load and pool truck load lots for next week's trading are: line run tenders $2.0650; skinless boneless breasts $2.10; whole breasts $1.27; boneless skinless thigh meat $1.52; thighs 73.00; drumsticks 66.50; leg quarters 54.00 and wings $1.4850. Demand on most parts is good to normal, mostly good; with the exception of line run tenders which is good to normal, mostly good, occasionally very good.

This compares with 4,783,700 head last Friday and Saturday.

Demand on most parts is good to normal, mostly good; with the exception of line run tenders which is good to normal, mostly good, occasionally very good.
Estimated hen slaughter for the week ending today is 278,071. Estimated hen slaughter for the corresponding week a year ago was 238,894 head.
