The Georgia f.o.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for this week's trading is 95.50 based on full truck load lots of ice pack USDA grade "A" sized 2Yz to 3 pound birds. 92% (representing 930 loads) of the loads offered have been confirmed within a range of 78.00 to $100.01 with a final weighted average of 94.74 f.o.b. dock or equivalent. The market is steady to somewhat weak and the live supply is adequate for a good to mostly normal demand. Average weights are desirable. Estimated slaughter today is 4,363,300 head. There was no report last Monday due to the Labor Day Holiday weekend.

The f.o.b. dock confirmed final weighted average prices on ice pack parts based on truck load and pool truck load lots for this week's trading are: line run tenders $2.0950 (based on 1,773,000 lbs.); skinless boneless breasts $1.75 (based on 7,414,000 lbs.); whole breasts $1.0350 (based on 1,496,000 lbs.); boneless skinless thigh meat $1.2950 (based on 1,231,000 lbs.); thighs 74.00 (based on 1,417,000 lbs.); drumsticks 75.50 (based on 1,417,000 lbs.); leg quarters 51.50 (based on 9,414,000 lbs.); and wings $1.83 (based on 3,870,000 lbs.). Demand on most parts are good to normal, mostly good; with the exception of line run tenders, skinless boneless breasts and wings which ranges normal to good, mostly normal.

11 SEPTEMBER 2012 TUESDAY
The Georgia f.o.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for this week's trading is 95.50. The final weighted average was 94.74 f.o.b. dock or equivalent. The market tone for next week's trading is steady to firm, mostly steady and the live supply is adequate for a normal to good, mostly normal demand. Average weights are desirable with a steady price trend. Estimated slaughter today is 4,673,000 head. This compares with 4,645,400 head last Tuesday.

The f.o.b. dock confirmed final weighted average prices on parts were: line run tenders $2.0950; skinless boneless breasts $1.75; whole breasts $1.0350; boneless skinless thigh meat $1.2950; thighs 74.00; drumsticks 75.50; leg quarters 51.50; and wings $1.83. Cooler inventories and supplies on all parts are balanced to good. Price trend on all parts are occasionally steady, mostly weak to firm.

12 SEPTEMBER 2012 WEDNESDAY
The Georgia f.o.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for next week's trading advanced .25 to 95.75 based on full truck load lots of ice pack USDA grade "A" sized 2Yz to 3 pound birds. The market is steady to somewhat weak and the live supply is adequate for a mostly normal to good demand. Average weights are desirable. Estimated slaughter today is 4,643,100 head. This compares with 4,686,100 head last Wednesday.

The f.o.b. dock quoted prices on ice pack parts based on truck load and pool truck load lots for next week's trading are: line run tenders $2.0750; skinless boneless breasts $1. 7350; whole breasts $1.03 50; boneless skinless thigh meat $1.3 !50; thighs 73.50; drumsticks 69.50; leg quarters 52.00; and wings $1.84. Demand on most parts are good to normal, mostly good; while the demand on skinless boneless breasts, thighs and wings ranges normal to good, mostly normal.

The market is steady and the live supply is adequate for an occasionally good, mostly normal demand. Average weights are desirable. Estimated slaughter today is 4,668,300 head. This compares with 4,662,100 head last Thursday.

The Georgia f.o.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for this week's trading is 95.75 based on full truck load lots of ice pack USDA grade "A" sized 2~ to 3 pound birds. 78% (representing 790 loads) ofthe loads offered have been confirmed within a range of 89.45 to $1.001 with a preliminary weighted average of95.50 f.o.b. dock or equivalent. The market is mostly steady and the live supply is adequate for a normal to good, mostly normal demand. Average weights are desirable. Estimated slaughter today is 4,694,500 head. This compares with 5,180,400 head last weekend.
The f.o.b. dock confirmed preliminary weighted average prices on ice pack parts based on truck load and pool truck load lots for this week's trading are: line run tenders $2.08 (based on 1,105,000 lbs.); skinless boneless breasts $1.73 (based on 4,460,000 1bs.); whole breasts $1.0250 (based on 1,160,000 lbs.); boneless skinless thigh meat $1.30 (based on 948,000 lbs.); thighs 74.00 (based on 1,043,000 lbs.); drumsticks 73.50 (based on 886,000 lbs.); leg quarters 52.00 (based on 7,120,000 lbs.); and wings $1.8250 (based on 2,916,000 lbs.). Demand on all parts is good to normal.
Trading on heavy breeder type hens continues moderate. The market undertone is mostly unchanged with offerings adequate for trade needs. Estimated hen slaughter for the week ending today is 282,946 head. This compares with 353,000 head the same time a year ago.
