The Georgia f.o.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for this week's trading is 95.25 based on full truck load lots of ice pack USDA grade "A" sized 21;2 to 3 pound birds. 93% (representing 941loads) ofthe loads offered have been confirmed within a range of 80.00 to 99.98 with a final weighted average of 94.55 f.o.b. dock or equivalent. The market is steady and the live supply is adequate for a mostly normal to good demand. Average weights are desirable but are heavier than desired in a few instances. Estimated slaughter today is 4,627, 700 head. This compares with 4,439,800 head last Monday.
The f.o.b. dock confirmed final weighted average prices on ice pack parts based on truck load and pool truck load lots for this week's trading are: line run tenders $2.0750 (based on 1,737,000 lbs.); skinless boneless breasts $1.78 (based on 7,378,000 lbs.); whole breasts $1.0350 (based on 1,460,000 lbs.); boneless skinless thigh meat $1.2950 (based on 1,231,000 lbs.); thighs 73.50 (based on 1,417,000 lbs.); drumsticks 75.50 (based on 1,417,000 lbs.); leg quarters 52.00 (based on 9,414,000 lbs.); and wings $1.88 (based on 3,870,000 lbs.). Demand on all parts are good to normal, mostly good; with the exception of thighs which is normal to good, mostly normal; while the demand on wings ranges good to mostly normal

The market tone for next week's trading is steady to occasionally weak, mostly steady and the live supply is adequate for a normal to good, mostly normal demand. Average weights are desirable with a steady price trend. Estimated slaughter today is 4,559,900 head. This compares with 4,617,900 head last Tuesday.
The f.o.b. dock confirmed final weighted average prices on parts were: line run tenders $2.0750; skinless boneless breasts $1.78; whole breasts $1.0350; boneless skinless thigh meat $1.2950; thighs 73.50; drumsticks 75.50; leg quarters 52.00; and wings $1.88. Cooler inventories and supplies on all parts are balanced with a demand ranging very good to normal, mostly good. Price trend on most parts are weak to occasionally steady, mostly weak.

The market is steady and the live supply is adequate for a normal to good, mostly normal demand. Average weights are desirable to occasionally heavier than desired. Estimated slaughter today is 4,662,700 head. This compares with 4,680,100 head last Wednesday.

The market is steady to occasionally weak and the live supply is adequate for a normal to good, mostly normal demand. Average weights are desirable. Estimated slaughter today and this holiday weekend is 6,565,079 head. This compares with 4,943,300 head last Friday and Saturday.
The f.o.b. dock confirmed preliminary weighted average prices on ice pack parts based on truck load and pool truck load lots for this week's trading are: line run tenders $2.0850 (based on 1,072,000 lbs.); skinless boneless breasts $1.76 (based on 4,428,000 lbs.); whole breasts $1.0250 (based on 943,000 lbs.); boneless skinless thigh meat $1.3150 (based on 883,000 lbs.); thighs 73.00 (based on 1,043,000 lbs.); drumsticks 73.50 (based on 886,000 lbs.); leg quarters 52.00 (based on 7,055,000 lbs.); and wings $1.8550 (based on 2,852,000 lbs.). Demand on most parts is good to normal, mostly good; with the exception of skinless boneless breasts and thighs which ranges good to normal; while whole breasts and wings is normal to good, mostly normal.
Trading on heavy breeder type hens is somewhat light. The market undertone continues steady with offerings balanced for trade needs. Estimated hen slaughter for the week ending today is 198,600 head. This compares with 167,500 head the same time a year ago.
Please Note: There will not be another market report until Tuesday the 41h of September due to the Labor Day Holiday weekend. Final weighted average prices will be reported on Tuesday.
