The Georgia f.o.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for this week's trading is 94.75 based on full truck load lots of ice pack USDA grade "A" sized 2Y2 to 3 pound birds. 89% (representing 903 loads) of the loads offered have been confirmed within a range of 77.00 to 99.96 with a final weighted average of 93.88 f.o.b. dock or equivalent. The market is occasionally weak, mostly steady and the live supply is adequate for a mostly normal to good demand. Average weights are desirable. Estimated slaughter today is 4,628,400 head. This compares with 4,625,200 head last Monday.

The f.o.b. dock confirmed final weighted average prices on ice pack parts based on truck load and pool truck load lots for this week's trading are: line run tenders $2.10 (based on 1,737,000 lbs.); skinless boneless breasts $1.60 (based on 7,378,000 lbs.); whole breasts $1.02 (based on 1,460,000 lbs.); boneless skinless thigh meat $1.3250 (based on 1,231,000 lbs.); thighs 74.50 (based on 1,417,000 lbs.); drumsticks 74.00 (based on 1,417,000 lbs.); leg quarters 51.00 (based on 9,486,000 lbs.); and wings $1.8750 (based on 3,870,000 lbs.). Demand on most parts are good to light, mostly normal; while the demand on whole breasts, thighs, drumsticks and wings ranges good to normal, mostly good.

The Georgia f.o.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for this week's trading is 94.75. The final weighted average was 93.88 f.o.b. dock or equivalent. The market tone for next week's trading is unchanged and the live supply is adequate for an occasionally good to light, mostly balanced demand. Average weights are desirable with a weak to firm price trend. Estimated slaughter today is 4,614,900 head. This compares with 4,562,400 head last Tuesday.

The f.o.b. dock confirmed final weighted average prices on parts were: line run tenders $2.1 0; skinless boneless breasts $1.60; whole breasts $1.02; boneless skinless thigh meat $1.3250; thighs 74.50; drumsticks 74.00; leg quarters 51.00; and wings $1.8750. Cooler inventories and supplies on all parts are balanced. Price trend on all parts ranges weak to firm; with the exception of leg quarters which is occasionally steady, mostly weak to firm.

25 JULY 2012 WEDNESDAY The Georgia f.o.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for next week's trading continues unchanged at 94.75 based on full truck load lots of ice pack USDA grade "A" sized 2\!S to 3 pound birds. The market is steady to occasionally weak, mostly steady and the live supply is adequate for a normal demand. Average weights are desirable to lighter than desired in a few instances. Estimated slaughter today is 4,680,100 head. This compares with 4,645,000 head last Wednesday.

The f.o.b. dock quoted prices on ice pack parts based on truck load and pool truck load lots for next week's trading are: line run tenders $2.0550; skinless boneless breasts $1.59; whole breasts $1.01; boneless skinless thigh meat $1.30; thighs 73.50; drumsticks 67.50; leg quarters 50.50; and wings $1.89. Demand on most parts are normal to mostly good; with the exception of line run tenders, skinless boneless breasts and leg quarters which are good to light, mostly normal; while the demand on boneless skinless thigh meat is mostly good to occasionally light.

The market is steady to occasionally weak, mostly steady and the live supply is adequate for a mostly normal to good demand. Average weights are desirable to lighter than desired in a few instances. Estimated slaughter today is 4,660,700 head. This compares with 4,548,200 head last Thursday.

The Georgia f.o.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for this week's trading is 94.75 based on full truck load lots of ice pack USDA grade "A" sized 2Yz to 3 pound birds. 79% (representing 797 loads) of the loads offered have been confirmed within a range of 87.23 to 99.96 with a preliminary weighted average of 94.27 f.o.b. dock or equivalent. The market is mostly steady to somewhat weak and the live supply is adequate for a normal to occasionally light demand. Average weights are desirable to lighter than desired in a few instances. Estimated slaughter today is 4,752,200 head. This compares with 4,501,800 head last Friday.
The f.o.b. dock confirmed preliminary weighted average prices on ice pack parts based on truck load and pool truck load lots for this week's trading are: line run tenders $2.00 (based on 1,162,000 lbs.); skinless boneless breasts $1.5850 (based on 4,284,000 lbs.); whole breasts $1.0050 (based on 921,000 lbs.); boneless skinless thigh meat $1.30 (based on 873,000 lbs.); thighs 74.50 (based on 959,000 lbs.); drumsticks 74.00 (based on 818,000 lbs.); leg quarters 51.00 (based on 5,222,000 lbs.); and wings $1.8750 (based on 2,295,000 lbs.). Demand on all parts are normal to good, mostly normal; with the exception of boneless skinless thigh meat, thighs and drumsticks which range good to normal; while the demand on leg quarters is good to light, mostly normal and wings are good to very good, mostly good.
Trading on heavy breeder type hens was balanced. The market undertone is unchanged with offerings adequate for trade needs. Estimated hen slaughter for the week ending today is 238,894 head. This compares with 279,700 head the same time a year ago.
