The Georgia f.o.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for this week's trading is 94.25 based on full truck load lots of ice pack USDA grade "A" sized 21;2 to 3 pound birds. 96% (representing 948 loads) of the loads offered have been confirmed within a range of 85.00 to 99.85 with a final weighted average of 93.43 f.o.b. dock or equivalent. The market is steady and the live supply remains generally adequate for a normal to good, mostly normal demand. Average weights are ranging desirable to lighter than desired in a few instances. Estimated slaughter today is 4,627,500 head. This compares with 4,541,900 head last Monday

The f.o.b. dock confirmed final weighted average prices on ice pack parts based on truck load and pool truck load lots for this week's trading are: line run tenders $2.20 (based on 1,664,000 lbs.); skinless boneless breasts $1.74 (based on 7,432,000 lbs.); whole breasts $1.08 (based on 1,424,000 lbs.); boneless skinless thigh meat $1.4150 (based on 1,159,000 lbs.); thighs 75.50 (based on 1,112,000 lbs.); drumsticks 75.50 (based on 1,282,000 lbs.); leg quarters 55.50 (based on 9,541,000 lbs.); and wings $1.85 (based on 3, 730,000 lbs.). Demand on line run tenders, skinless boneless breasts, whole breasts and drumsticks is good to normal; while the demand on boneless skinless thigh meat, thighs, leg quarters and wings which ranges normal to good.

The Georgia f.o.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for this week's trading is 94.25. The final weighted average was 93.43 f.o.b. dock or equivalent. The market tone for next week's trading is slightly higher and the live supply is mostly adequate for a balanced to good demand. Average weights are desirable with a price trend ranging steady to mostly firm. Estimated slaughter today is 4,623,800 head. This compares with 4,599,600 head last Tuesday.

The f.o.b. dock confirmed final weighted average prices on parts were: line run tenders $2.20; skinless boneless breasts $1.74; whole breasts $1.08; boneless skinless thigh meat $1.4150; thighs 75.50; drumsticks 75.50; leg quarters 55.50; and wings $1.85. Cooler inventories and supplies on all parts are mostly balanced. Price trend on line run tenders, skinless boneless breasts, thighs and leg quarters ranges firm to weak, mostly steady; whole breasts, drumsticks and wings is firm; while the price trend on boneless skinless thigh meat is weak.

23 MAY 2012 WEDNESDAY The Georgia f.o.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for next week's trading advanced .25 to 94.50 based on full truck load lots of ice pack USDA grade "A" sized 21;2 to 3 pound birds. The market is slightly higher and the live supply is adequate to occasionally short for a good to normal pre-holiday demand. Average weights are in full range, but are mostly desirable. Estimated slaughter today is 4,598,700 head. This compares with 4,533,700 head last Wednesday.

The f.o.b. dock quoted prices on ice pack parts based on truck load and pool truck load lots for next week's trading are: line run tenders $2.2150; skinless boneless breasts $1. 72; whole breasts $1.0850; boneless skinless thigh meat $1.4150; thighs 75.50; drumsticks 69.00; leg quarters 55.00; and wings $1.84. Demand on line run tenders, skinless boneless breasts, whole breasts, boneless skinless thigh meat and leg quarters is normal to good, mostly normal; thighs and wings is good to normal; while the demand on drumsticks is good.

24 MAY 2012 THURSDAY The Georgia f.o.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for this week's trading is 94.50 based on full truck load lots of ice pack USDA grade "A" sized 2Yz to 3 pound birds. 60% (representing 588 loads) of the loads offered have been confirmed within a range of 87.14 to 99.89 with a preliminary weighted average of 93.59 f.o.b. dock or equivalent. The market is moderate and the live supply is adequate for a demand ranging good to normal, mostly good. Average weights are desirable. Estimated slaughter today is 4,5 89,900 head. This compares with 4,612,100 head last Thursday.

The Georgia f.o.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for this week's trading is 94.50 based on full truck load lots of ice pack USDA grade "A" sized 2\lz to 3 pound birds. 76% (representing 754 loads) ofthe loads offered have been confirmed within a range of 87.14 to 99.89 with a preliminary weighted average of 93.58 f.o.b. dock or equivalent. The market is fully moderate and the live supply is adequate for a normal to good, mostly normal holiday demand. Average weights are ranging fully desirable. Estimated slaughter today is 4,448,400 head. This compares with 4,559,100 head last Friday.
The f.o.b. dock confirmed preliminary weighted average prices on ice pack parts based on truck load and pool truck load lots for this week's trading are: line run tenders $2.1650 (based on 1,012,000 lbs.); skinless boneless breasts $1.7050 (based on 4,396,000 lbs.); whole breasts $1.0850 (based on 949,000 lbs.); boneless skinless thigh meat $1.43 (based on 789,000 lbs.); thighs 76.00 (based on 742,000 lbs.); drumsticks 75.00 (based on 734,000 lbs.); leg quarters 55.00 (based on 5,309,000 lbs.); and wings $1.83 (based on 2,192,000 lbs.). Demand on line run tenders, whole breasts, leg quarters and wings ranges normal to good; while the demand on skinless boneless breasts, boneless skinless thigh meat, thighs and drumsticks is good to normal.
Trading on heavy breeder type hens was good to balanced. The market undertone is unchanged with offerings adequate for holiday trade needs. Estimated hen slaughter for the week ending today is 330,800 head. This compares with 263,400 head the same time a year ago.
