The Georgia f.o.b, dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for this week's trading is 89.256 based on full truck load lots of ice pack USDA grade "A" sized 2% to 3 pound birds. 97% (representing 900 loads) of the loads offered have been confirmed within a range of 72.006 to 98.996 with a final weighted average of 88.776 f.0.b. dock or equivalent. The market continues mostly firm and the live supply is adequate for a demand remaining good to normal, mostly good. Average weights are fully desirable. Estimated slaughter today is 4,487,300 head. This compares with 4,606,600 head last Monday.

The f.0.b. dock confirmed final weighted average prices on ice pack parts based on truck load and pool truck load lots for this week's trading are: line run tenders $1.88 (based on 1,739,000 Ibs.); skinless boneless breasts $1.4750 (based on 7,373,000 Ibs.); whole breasts 82.506 (based on 1,495,000 Ibs.); boneless skinless thigh meat $1.2350 (based on 1,212,000 Ibs.); thighs 71.506 (based on 1,109,000 lbs.); drumsticks 70.006 (based on 1,149,000 Ibs.); leg quarters 53.506 (based on 9,830,000 Ibs.); and wings $1.28 (based on 3,585,000 Ibs.). Demand on line run tenders is good to normal; skinless boneless breasts, thighs and leg quarters is normal to good; whole breasts and boneless skinless thigh meat is normal; while the demand on drumsticks and wings ranges mostly good.

The Georgia f.0.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for this week's trading is 89.256. The final weighted average was 88.776 f.0.b. dock or equivalent. The market tone for next week's trading is slightly higher and the live supply is adequate for a mostly balanced pre-holiday demand. Average weights are desirable with a steady to firm price trend. Estimated slaughter today is 4,566,600 head. This compares with 4,565,300 head last Tuesday.

The f.0.b. dock confirmed final weighted average prices on parts were: line run tenders $1.88; skinless boneless breasts $1.4750; whole breasts 82.506; boneless skinless thigh meat $1.2350; thighs 71SO$; drumsticks 70.006; leg quarters 53.506; and wings $1.28. Cooler inventories and supplies on all parts are balanced. Price trend on line run tenders, whole breasts, drumsticks and wings is mostly firm; skinless boneless breasts, boneless skinless thigh meat and leg quarters ranges firm to weak, mostly steady; while the price trend on thighs is weak to steady.

The Georgia f.0.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for next week's trading advanced .256 to 89.506 based on full truck load lots of ice pack USDA grade "A" sized 2% to 3 pound birds. The market is slightly higher and the live supply is adequate for a normal to good holiday demand. Average weights are desirable. Estimated slaughter today and the Thanksgiving Day holiday weekend is 8,037,500 head. This compares with 4,335,000 head last Wednesday.

The f.0.b. dock quoted prices on ice pack parts based on truck load and pool truck load lots for next week's trading are: line run tenders $1.82; skinless boneless breasts $1.45; whole breasts 82.506; boneless skinless thigh meat $1.2350; thighs 71.506; drumsticks 64.50$; leg quarters 53.006; and wings $1.32. Demand on line run tenders and skinless boneless breasts is normal to good; whole breasts, boneless skinless thigh meat, thighs and leg quarters is mostly normal; drumsticks is good to normal; while the demand on wings ranges mostly good.

Trading on heavy breeder type hens continues active. The market undertone remains unchanged to slightly firm with offerings generally adequate for a very good holiday demand. Estimated hen slaughter for the week ending Friday is 128,400 head. This compares with 176,900 head the same time a year ago.

with 16,715,900 head of broilers and fryers for the corresponding week a year ago.
