The Georgia f.0.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for this week's trading is 89.006. 99% (representing 994 loads) of the loads offered have been confirmed within a range of 63.00# to 98.71$ with a final weighted average of 87.14$ f.0.b. dock or equivalent. The market tone for next week's trading is unchanged and live supply is adequate for a mostly balanced demand. Average weights are fully desirable with a price trend occasionally ranging firm to weak, mostly steady. Estimated slaughter today and the Columbus Day holiday is 9,230,900 head. This compares with 4,643,600 head last Tuesday.
The f.0.b. dock confirmed final weighted average prices on parts were: line run tenders $1.8250 (based on 1,815,000 lbs.); shnless boneless breasts $1.4650 (based on 6,619,000 lbs.); whole breasts 81.006 (based on 1,560,000 lbs.); boneless slunless thigh meat $1.32 (based on 1,276,000 lbs.); thighs 72.006 (based on 1,130,000 lbs.); drumsticks 71.506 (based on 1,175,000 lbs.); leg quarters 53.006 (based on 10,262,000 lbs.); and wings $1.10 (based on 3,767,000 lbs.). Cooler inventories and supplies on all parts are balanced. Price trend on line run tenders, skinless boneless breasts, boneless skinless thigh meat and thighs is weak to firm, mostly steady; whole breasts is firm; drumsticks and leg quarters is weak; while the price trend on wings ranges firm to steady.

The market remains steady and the live supply is adequate for a mostly normal demand. Average weights are ranging mostly desirable. Estimated slaughter today is 4,645,900 head. This compares with 4,713,700 head last Wednesday.
The f.0.b. dock quoted prices on ice pack parts based on truck load and pool truck load lots for next week's trading are: line run tenders $1.83; shnless boneless breasts $1.4450; whole breasts 80.506; boneless shnless thigh meat $1.32; thighs 72.00$; drumsticks 65.506; leg quarters 53.006; and wings $1.1350. Demand on line run tenders, skinless boneless breasts and leg quarters is normal to good, mostly normal; whole breasts, boneless skinless thigh meat and thighs is normal; while the demand on drumsticks and wings is good to normal.

Trading on heavy breeder type hens was fair. The market undertone is generally unchanged with offerings adequate for a normal demand. Estimated hen slaughter for the week ending today is 259,300 head. This compares with 237,500 head the same time a year ago.
