The market tone for next week's trading is unchanged and the live supply is adequate for a balanced to good demand. Average weights are ranging generally desirable with a mostly steady price trend. Estimated slaughter today is 4,676,400 head. This compares with 4,703,600 head last Tuesday.

The f.0.b. dock confirmed final weighted average prices on parts were: line run tenders $2.0150; skinless boneless breasts $1.5550; whole breasts 92.006; boneless shnless thigh meat $1.32; thighs 65.506; drumsticks 67.506; leg quarters 47.5055; and wings 78.5055. Cooler inventories and supplies on all parts are mostly balanced. Price trend on line run tenders and skinless boneless breasts is mostly weak; whole breasts is steady to weak; boneless shnless thigh meat is steady to firm; thighs and leg quarters is firm to steady; drumsticks is firm; while the price trend on wings ranges steady to weak.

The market continues mostly steady and the live supply is adequate for a good to normal demand. Average weights are ranging generally desirable. Estimated slaughter today is 4,678,700 head. This compares with 4,706,700 head last Wednesday.

Trading on heavy breeder type hens was normal. The market undertone is slightly firm with offerings adequate for trade needs. Estimated hen slaughter for the week ending today is 160,500 head. This compares with 309,700 head the same time a year ago.
