Placement of broiler ch icks in Georgia during t he week ending January 7 was 21,172,000- -slightly mo re than the previous week and 8 percent more than the compa rable week last year, accord ing to the Georg ia Agricultural Stati stics Service .

An estimated 26,375 ,000 broiler type eggs were set by Georgia hatcheries --sl ightly less than the pre vious week but 8 percent more than the comparable week a year earl ier .

Placeme nt of broiler ch icks in the 15 reporting States totaled 129,926,000- -1 percent lower than the previous week but 7 percent more than the comparable week last year. Bro iler type hatching eggs set were 161,643,000- -1 percent more than the previous week and 5 percent more tha n a year ago .

An estimated 26,121,000 bro iler type eggs were set by Georgia hatcheries--1 percent less than the previous week but 11 percent more than the comparable week a year earlier .

BROILERS PLACED IN GEORGIA UP 7 PERCENT BROILER EGGS SET UP 11 PERCENT

Placement of broiler chicks in Georgia during the week end ing January 28 was 21,529,000- -1 percent more than the previous week and 7 percent more than the comparable week last year, accord ing to the Georgia Agricultural Statistics Service .

An estimated 26,218,OCXJ broiler type eggs vvere set by Georgia hatcheries--l percen t less than the previous V\.ek but 11 percent more than the comparable vveek a year earlier.

Placement of broiler chicks in the 15 reporting States totaled 131,980,000--1 percent more than the previous V\.ek and 8 percent more than the comparable vveek last year. Bro iler type hatch ing eggs set were 160,310,OOO--slightly 10V\.r than the previous vveek but 5 percent more than a year ago .

An estimated 26,373,000 broiler type eggs were set by Georgia hatcheries--1 percent more than the previous Vl.ek and 9 percent more than the comparable week a year earlier.

Placement of broiler chicks in the 15 reporting States totaled 130,350,000--1 percent less than the previous week but 7 percent more than the comparable Vl.ek last year. Bro iler type hatching eggs set were 156,276,000--3 percent less than the previous week but 1 percent more than a year ago.

BROILER EGGS SET UP 7 PERCENT

Placement of broiler chicks in Georgia during the week ending February 18 was 21,389,000--2 percent less than the previous week but 9 percent more than the comparable week last year, according to the Georgia Agricultural Statistics Service .

An estimated 26,121,000 broiler type eggs were set by Georgia hatcheries--2 percent more than the previous week and 7 percent more than the comparable week a year earlier.

Placement ofbroiler chicks in the 15 reporting States totaled 130,705,000--1 percent more than the previous week and 7 percent more than the comparable week last year. Broiler type hatching eggs set were 162,745 ,000 --2 percent more than the previous week and 4 percent more than a year ago .

Placement of broiler chicks in Georgia during the week ending February 25 was 20,875,000--2 percent less than the previous week but 2 percent more than the comparable week last year, according to the Georgia Agricultural Statistics Service.

An estimated 26,817,000 broiler type eggs were set by Georgia hatcheries--3 percent more than the
previous week and 1 percent more than the comparable week a year earlier.

Placement of broiler chicks in the 15 reporting States totaled 128,313 ,000--2 percent less than the previous week but 4 percent more than the comparable week last year. Broiler type hatching eggs set were 163,447,000--slightly more than the previous week and 4 percent more than a year ago .

Placement of broiler chicks in Georgia during the week ending March 18 was 21 ,650,000--2 percent more than the previous week and 5 percent more than the comparable week last year, according to the Georgia Agricultural Statistics Service.

An estimated 26 ,764,000 broiler type eggs were set by Georgia hatcheries- l percent less than the previous week but 7 percent more than the comparable week a year earlier.

Placement of broiler chicks in the 15 reporting States totaled 133,893 ,000--2 percent more than the previous week and 6 percent more than the comparable week last year. Broiler type hatching eggs set were 165,016,000--slightly higher than the previous week and 4 percent more than a year ago .

BROILER EGGS SET UP 6 PERCENT

Placement of broiler chicks in Georgia during the week ending April 8 was 21,875,000--3 percent less than the previous week but 6 percent more than the comparable week last year, according to the Georgia Agricultural Statistics Service.

An estimated 27,094,000 broiler type eggs were set by Georgia hatcheries--1 percent less than the previous week but 6 percent more than the comparable week a year earlier.

Placement of broiler chicks in the 15 reporting States totaled 133,828,000--slightly less than the previous week but 5 percent more than the comparable week last year. Broiler type hatching eggs set were 165,462,000--1 percent more than the previous week and 3 percent more than a year ago.

BROILER EGGS SET UP 9 PERCENT

Placement of broiler chicks in Georgia during the week ending April 29 was 22,3 50,000--1 percent less than the previous week but 7 percent more than the comparable week last year, according to the Georgia Agricultural Statistics Service.

An estimated 27,809,000 broiler type eggs were set by Georgia hatcheries--2 percent more than the previous week and 9 percent more than the comparable week a year earlier.

Placement of broiler chicks in the 15 reporting States totaled 135,769,000--1 percent more than the previous week and 5 percent more than the comparable week last year. Broiler type hatching eggs set were 164,495,000--1 percent less than the previous week but 3 percent more than a year ago .

Placement of broiler chicks in Georgia during the week ending May 13 was 21,933 ,000--2 percent less than the previous week but 6 percent more than the comparable week last year, according to the Georgia Agricultural Statistics Service.

An estimated 26,84 2,000 broiler type eggs were set by Georgia hatcheries--3 percent less than the previous week but 4 percent more than the comparable week a year earlier.

Placement of broiler chick s in the 15 reporting States totaled 134,551,000--1 perc ent less than the previous week but 4 percent more than the comparabl e week last year. Broiler type hatching eggs set were 164,731 ,000--1 percent less than the prev ious week but 2 percent more than a year ago .

P lacement of bro iler chicks in Georgia during the week ending June 3 was 2 1,649,000-- 4 percent less than the previous week but 3 percent more than the comparable week last year, acco rding to the Georgia Agricultur al Statistics Service .

An estimate d 26,572,000 broiler type eggs we re set by Geo rgia hatcheries--2 perc ent less than the previou s week but 2 percent mo re than the comparable week a year earlier.

Place ment of broiler chicks in the 15 reporti ng States totaled 134,030,000--slightly more than the previous week and 2 perce nt more than the comparable week last year. Broiler type hatching eggs set were 164,335,00 0--slightly less tha n the prev ious week but slightly more than a year ago.

BROILERS PLACED IN GEORGIA UP 8 PERCENT BROILER EGGS SET UP 5 PERCENT

Placement of broiler chicks in Georgia during the week ending June 10 was 22,473 ,000--4 percent more than the previous week and 8 percent more than the comparable week last year, according to the Georgia Agricultural Statistics Service.

An estimated 27,089 ,000 broiler type eggs were set by Georgia hatcheries--2 percent more than the previous week and 5 percent more than the comparable week a year earlier.

Placement of broiler chicks in the 15 reporting States totaled 135,355 ,00 0--1 percent more than the previous week and 3 percent more than the comparable week last year. Broiler type hatching eggs set were 166,960 ,000--1 percent more than the previous week and 2 percent more than a year ago .

Placement of broiler chicks in Georgia during the week ending June 17 was 22,545,OOO--slightly more than the previous week and 6 percent more than the comparable week last year, according to the Georgia Agricultural Statistics Service.

An estimated 26,834,000 broiler type eggs were set by Georgia hatcheries--1 percent less than the previous week but 4 percent more than the comparable week a year earlier.
