Georgia Tobacco Yield Estimated at 2,350 pounds per acre
Tobacco Tobacco yield is expected to average 2,350 pounds per acre; up 350 pounds from 2009.
Winter wheat Winter Wheat yield is expected to average 40 bushels per acre; down 4 bushels from the June forecast and down 2 bushels from 2009.
Peach Peach Production is expected to total 40,000 tons; up 25% from 2009.

2010 VEGETABLES IN GEORGIA
Cabbage Acres for harvest are expected to total 900 acres in 2010; up 200 percent from 2009.
Cantaloupe Growers intend to harvest 2,000 acres in 2010; up 25 percent from 2009.
Snap Beans Growers expect to harvest 2,300 acres in 2010 down 40 percent from 2009.
Watermelon Growers expect to harvest 20,000 acres in 2010 down 13 percent from 2009.
Spring Onions Growers planted 12,200 acres and intend to harvest 11,900 acres in 2010; Yield per acres is expected to be 230 and total production is estimated at 2.7 million cwt.
