Irvin Says Recalled Marshmallows Contain Eggs Not on Labels
ATLANTA Georgia Agriculture Commissioner Tommy Irvin today warned consumers with an egg allergy to avoid Chocolate Covered Marshmallows on the Stick, distributed nationwide by Desly International, Corp. of Brooklyn, New York.
The strawberry and vanilla marshmallows were packaged in uncoded 48 gram cellophane bags with Russian writing only. The products contain undeclared eggs.
"If our inspectors find this product for sale, they will place it on withhold for pickup by the distributor or seek voluntary destruction," said Commissioner Irvin.
