The Georgia Grown Village at the Savannah Food and Wine Festival

Georgia Grown would like to invite you to participate in the Annual Georgia Grown Village at the 2015 Savannah Food & Wine Festival. The Georgia Grown Village will be held at the Taste of Savannah on Saturday, November 14, 2015 from 1 - 5 pm.
The Taste of Savannah has an exciting new venue this year! The new site is located at the Georgia State Railroad Museum: 655 Louisville Road Savannah, Ga. The Georgia Grown Village area will be set up for foot traffic only no motorized vehicles allowed.
Set-up times for vendors at the Georgia Grown Village will be 7:00 am to 10:00 am that morning. Georgia Grown has arranged special vendor accommodation and rates ($175) for the Georgia Grown Village at the Savannah Food & Wine Festival. Click here to apply as a vendor at the Georgia Grown Pavilion!

Have you been thinking about bottling and selling your family's secret recipe barbeque sauce? Do you make a specialty food product that everyone wants you to put on the market? Should you use a shared kitchen to produce it yourself or hire a copacker? Then you should consider attending this new workshop! This workshop is designed to provide participants with practical information on producing food products. Attendees will have the opportunity get their questions answered by experts during the panel discussion. The workshop is presented by UGA's College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences, the Athens Department of Food Science and Technology, The National Center for Home Food Preservation, The Georgia Department of Agriculture Consumer Protection Division and other industry experts.
