Verdant Kitchen's Ginger Infused Honey and Ginger Syrup has long been one of Georgia's favorite things, and now it has caught the eye and taste buds of one of the most influential women in the world. A gift set of the two popular items have been included on Oprah Winfrey's "Favorite Things" for 2015. The gift guide published in "O, The Oprah Magazine" features 87 of Oprah's favorite products to both give and receive this holiday season.
"I've been picking my Favorite Things for more than 20 years, but this year's list just might be the most versatile and fun ever" said Oprah.
When describing ginger gift set, the magazine said; "This is amazing: Get the healthful benefits of ginger in the form of a luscious honey (to stir into tea) or a zingy organic syrup (the cocktail possibilities are endless) both made in Georgia."

Georgia Grown has a lot to offer this year at the Savannah Food and Wine Festival. On Monday, November 9th, we're celebrating our rich wine history with the first ever Georgia Grown Trustees Wine Challenge Dinner. The best of class Georgia wines will be awarded, while Georgia Grown chefs will be preparing a five-course ultimate Peach State dining experience. Then be sure to stop by the Georgia Grown Village on Saturday, November 14th. The Taste of Savannah has an exciting new venue this year! The new site is located at the Georgia State Railroad Museum: 655 Louisville Road Savannah, Ga. The Georgia Grown Village area will be set up for foot traffic only no motorized vehicles allowed.
